mohdone 0 Posted May 30, 2009 Drove all the way from Banting to Central Park, BU for the event. Reached BU around 11.20am and finding a space to park is another hassle. Too late for the goody bag but my son managed to swap 4 vehicles. 1) 2009 Ford F-150 (carded) 2) Volkswagen New Bettle Cup (carded) 3) Ferrari 360 Modena (loose) 4) Nissan 350Z (loose) and now my son is asking:- when is the next swapmeet??? Rayz-HWC 0 Posted June 2, 2009 Was there about 1pm....actually lurking behind the scene, checking out the entire event itself. Met couple new guys myself, pointed them to the Mattel Tent, not sure if they showed up at the stall. Quite a crowd, good location in front of Park's parking area, would be cooler if the event was facing the 1Utama Main entrance, others will cross over to park to attend, but cos it was blocked by the trees lots of people didn't know about the event, unless they passed by at the main road and saw the tents.... Overall them 3 guys worked their ass (not really, more like playing hehehehe. HEY but that's the WHOLE purpose ) couple others too, ain't gonna give any kudos to Mattel staff - don't deserve! Seems HWCM was MANNING THE whole tent most times, Mattel just stand and watch, only standing around...seems WE know more then the staff - so how can they simply assign some part-timers or (if) they are real staff - they should have some basic knowledge la at least...*sheesh* I see kids enjoying swapping, parents feel good too cos no need buy or spend ...very +ive feedback...just the down part is...not having a REAL good turnout. Always room for improvement, and guess it's all about management and planning. No point slamming Mattel since ToyCarsMy insist that this event is by K-ZONE! Wonder what is K-Zone anyways, and am TOO lazy to everytime have to divert to another site just to read info, when it could be posted here initially! Wonder why not?! CP?? Oh yea...forgot...obviously promote Sdn Blog dulu...sigh I so silly to think...nvmd! Thanks for the info Fadli on the K-Zone! ....but guess someone has a problem with my other post that I said thank you for the info (and more in the post but got deleted), they had to delete and not give any reason - so be it!
