Before he becomes yesterday's news, 2008 "American Idol" winner David Cook has announced a July 24 performance at Mystic Lake Casino. Cook, who is scheduled to appear on "American Idol" Wednesday (April 1), started his national solo tour in mid-February. His self-titled solo album debuted at No. 3 in November, and his single, "Light On," peaked at No. 17. Tickets will go on sale April 11.

FYI: about the casino shows and concerts. I don't believe I saw people being carded in Biloxi. However, I'm sure if you are underage going to the concert and explained that to someone if asked, I'd think u were fine!!! Just my 2 cents worth

In Niagara they let kids into the concert. People underage just need to be with an adult through the casino floor.

i dont even know what state MN is..lol let me look...ok minnesota.

i dont know which states are connsidered midwest but i have the feeling ive probably been to most of them for DWEEB too..lol a huge accomplishment for a cali girl i think.

i was really hoping hed be west coast for the summer. i have the entire month of july off so i guess if he refuses to come to me ill just have to keep going to him. i think ill buy tickets for all july shows and then go from there..

Of course they go on sale right after I get into Memphis (around 8 am) Thank goodness for WiFi

ETA: I should have found out before I posted this that all you have to do to become a VIP is signing up for the VIP newsletter. Now I don't have to do it when I get into Memphis... or maybe I will. We'll see how that goes...

aww thanks! I'm not too upset about missing the show, just wish things hadn't gone this way...there will always be another show but you only have one family and they come first in my book! I can't wait to see you guys again in MN and then again in IA! I saw on stubhub that there are already tickets up for the jones county fair but they dont go on sale until 4-20

I know! the same thing is on stubhub too, I am totally clueless as to how ticketmaster works anymore. How do they decide who gets what tickets when everyone logs on right at 10:00? At least we got tickets to the show.
