This is my lakeland terrier of which i love dearly....but try and move him when hes asleep... Laughing hes 10year old now and set in his ways LaughingLaughing hes never bitten anyone LaughingLaughingLaughing yet LaughingLaughingLaughing ive just rested me arm on him and this is what you get LaughingLaughingLaughing

As wifey always goes to bed before me...he always follows her up...then i do have to move him Laughing he snaps at me but hes never bitten me LaughingLaughing

Mine was pretty wild when I got him last year.
Belonged to the Mrs, but he didnt take much notice.
Had to keep all gates / doors shut as he just
ran riot over furniture or was off down the street.

I've had him 4 months and now can leave the
yard gates open when im putting bikes in/out
without chaining him up, and he's a lot better
in the house.

Tought him to stay outside untill I say he's
allowed to come in the house.



Funny thing is, although im the only one who
has shown him any disipline, without being cruel,
he follows me everywhere and listens to me.

I was told he needed an "Alpha Male" and others
have said that Cattle dogs just respond better to Males.

He's never bared his teeth at me yet,
and I think he's smart enough not to try it,
but he's 100% obsessed with trying to kill / bite
my petrol lawn mower every time I start it !!

spot on tony all dogs need a master . my work partners wife has a dog which she treats like a two year old kid it absolutely pleases itself what it does in or out of his house i try not to go there as it really pisses me off.

48 and never owned a dog in my life,

I'm the same 44 and last year got our first dog. I wasn't to sure at first but she's one of the family now.
