lion and leopard?

Recommended Posts

What does a lion and leopard mean? both appeared in my dream and i felt fear however they were both walking around not bothering people around them. But I was very wary of them and felt that they could attack if they wanted to. I was especially afraid of the lion, there was a child playing on him and I told the child to get off as the lion could be dangerous.

What could this mean?

The Lion was Christ, he is the roaring lion. The leopard is the enemy who roam to and fro seeking whom he may devour. However, Satan has no authority unless God gives it to him. The child was safe and has a relationship with Christ. We are to have a reverance for Christ and fear, but to a certain degree. Christ what you to focus on your relationship with him, don't be afraid to get closer to him.

Lion sometimes refers to Christ and it also sometimes refers to the Enemy. Depends on the context of the dream.

1Peter 5:8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls
around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders said to me, "Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that
is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to
open the book and its seven seals."

more verses in bible..these 2 came to mind

thanks guys I do believe the 1Peter 5:8 verse stands out for me, I get discouraged and distracted easily at times and have been trying to become stronger in my relationship with God. Have had so many setbacks but am holding on to God's promises for my life.

hi happiness... i understand what u mean.. i get discouraged as well.. it's hard sometimes when u dont see the rainbow at the end but ur just walking w/faith not by sight.. thats when u just cling on to His word...

Even Jesus was discouraged..when He prayed and sweated drops of blood- " Lord take away this cup if possible..not my will but urs..."
also on the Cross He thought the Father looked away and said " why hve u forsaken me.."

God understands discouragement and stress.. He had gone thru it as well..so go to Him with an honest heart and let Him know how u feel... Just happens sometimes... thats when God steps in and helps u more...

ptl...

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

Sister, as I was reading what you wrote about God understands discouragement and the parts about Jesus. I got this image of Yah weeping for His Son Jesus as He saw the pain and suffering His child was going through.

Thank you Father for being a Good Father
