Pregnant and Baby Likes the Left Side

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

Last week, I had a very vivid dream about being pregnant. My doctor(s) insisted that I be on bed rest because I complained about a bit of discomfort. Everyone was pampering me and wouldn't let me do a thing--which I found very irritating because I find it difficult to stay in bed for very long in real life.

The odd thing about the pregnancy is that the baby seemed to prefer staying on the left side of my abdomen. Whether I was sitting or standing, my belly listed to the left. I felt very protective of and attached to the unborn child and grew accustomed to cradling my belly with my left arm. Although the dream spanned a good portion of the pregnancy, I awakened before giving birth.

**I just shared this dream with my family last night and my 13 year old son suddenly recalled having a short dream last week about me having another child.**

Hi Mia,

Wow...I have taken some time to think over your questions and discern the answers. Question 1--only if God allows...Question 2--How to get my family out of an oppressive environment w/o the necessary provisions in sight has been weighing heavily on my heart.

I posted this pregnancy dream in 2013. During the summer of 2016, my 19 year old daughter gave birth to my first grandchild after a very difficult pregnancy.

Her son was born with a CHD which included a hole in his heart and the ventricles were in a reversed position, which prevented oxygenated blood from leaving the heart in the normal way. The hole was a life saver as it allowed small amounts of oxygenated blood to get pumped throughout the body. This serious defect made open heart surgery necessary during his first week.

Well, after spending his first 2 mos in the NICU, he was released from the hospital. He is nearly 11 months old and has been very healthy, praise God!

We have an amazing bond as I have been his full time caregiver since he was 2 months old and even roomed in with him at the NICU so that I could be trained to help my daughter to care for him at home. I am often mistaken for being his mommy because of the way that we interact and people tell me that I look younger when he's with me <3 .

He loves to lie cradled in my left arm or be carried on my left hip and will switch over if I put him on my right side! 😍😂
