TRYING ON A NEW DRESS

Recommended Posts

dreamt that i was to try on 3 dresses. They were for a party. all of them were cute and fun. I was with my girlfriends. One dress stood out. I knew I would like that one more than the others so I said I would try it on first. It was an upscale store however they informed us that they did not believe in change rooms and that you would have to change in the open. I was taken aback by that but decided I would try it anyhow. I told my friend to get her a towel and put it up so no one would see. She did. As i was changing i noticed in the mirror that my stomach was fat and huge. So i laughed and tried to hide it and told my friend to bring the towel in more so no one would see this fat belly. I put on the dress that was a fun colored blue dress. When i unveiled it to the rest of my girlfriends they were in awe. I looked in the mirror and the dress was white and angelic. I was like I LOVE IT it is beautiful. It almost looked like it even had angel wings.

End of dream:chinscratch:

No interpretation but your dream reminded me of a prophecy I was once given that proved to be very true. I was told the ministry I was getting ready to step into would be like a dress "tailor-made" just for me. Perhaps the dress is a ministry God has just for you?? One that will put others in awe when they see how well it suits you?? Just my thoughts.

I love dress dreams! I've noticed in my life, they represent a newness that God is bringing me into..like a place of honor, ministry in a sense, but also edification and building up of your spirit and times of refreshing. This scripture says it better than I can...
Psalm 45:7-15
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy.
8 All your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia;
from palaces adorned with ivory
the music of the strings makes you glad.
9 Daughters of kings are among your honored women;
at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir.
10 Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention:
Forget your people and your father’s house.
11 Let the king be enthralled by your beauty;
honor him, for he is your lord.
12 The city of Tyre will come with a gift,[d]
people of wealth will seek your favor.
13 All glorious is the princess within her chamber;
her gown is interwoven with gold.
14 In embroidered garments she is led to the king;
her virgin companions follow her—
those brought to be with her.
15 Led in with joy and gladness,
they enter the palace of the king.
