Home birth??

Recommended Posts

I dreamed this morning that I was very pregnant and delivering at home. I had been in labor all night, but the pains had let up. I could feel the child's tiny hand pressing through my tummy, but when I tried to get my husband to feel, he couldn't and seemed impatient. He left, seeming to decide he needed to be at work and maybe I wasn't really in labor. I had a moment of almost panic that maybe I was wrong in trying to birth this child at home and by myself. I knew in my dream that my other children had been born at the hospital by c-section, but would a hospital even take me since I had gotten no prenatal care? I too started getting around, deciding I may as well get busy with my day. A man who was in the house with me asked what I was doing. I told him I was getting ready to teach school today. He asked if I thought I would be able to, with the labor pains already started. I said, I may as well while I wait. I am not a patient person and need to keep busy until the time arrives.
Thank you for any insight!!

Thank you Mia!
Yes, we have been praying for our son. A few weeks ago my husband dreamed that our son's ex-girlfriend (as in he dated her a year ago) had asked for a ride to church and after they got there, she began telling everyone that my husband was her boyfriend. My husband was rebuking her in the dream for lying, but he said no one believed her anyway. He told me the dream when he awoke that morning.
Only 3 hours later we got news that this very girl was making serious accusations to the police about our son, and that she had filed a report with the police. Our son was shocked by the allegations. We have discovered since that she has done this same thing to three other young men in the community, however never went as far as to make formal charges. Other things she lied about in the past have also come out. We began praying immediately, as did several intercessors. Our son met with the police, and was informed that there is no evidence, just her word against his.
I am confident, by the Spirit of God, that this thing is soon to be over, thrown out completely, and the people closest to this girl alerted to her dishonesty. I have had such a peace since, but I feel my husband is really fighting fear in this thing, although he hasn't said it.
As for the "panic" I felt in the dream, there have been just a few times when the thought comes, "what if you are wrong?"
And I am going about my business and teaching, while knowing at any time we could get a call letting us know it is over and God had won the victory!
Thank you Mia!! All clear now.

I believe so too. I am confident we will have a quick "delivery" on this one.
About a week before this I had a dream, which I posted, about a friend of my daughters who was hurt in a football game. In it, our pastor was railing the young man, saying he would never be able to play again and it was his own fault. A lady in our church was challenging him, saying the young man would play again, that God was faithful. The pastor argued that the young man had disobeyed his doctors and he was getting what he deserved (there was no mercy!). They were almost getting into an argument about it. I realized today that dream was God warning me that our pastor wasn't going to stand with us, that he would judge the situation from the outside, instead of hearing from God.
Thank you again!

No, not that he has said. I think he is most bothered that we live in his home town and she is the daughter of an old friend of his. He dreads any uncomfortable fall-out. But he believes our son. Even without the dream God gave him, the time frame is all wrong.
Our pastor, on the other hand, when our son went for prayer last week, told him to stop playing the victim and take responsibility for his actions, but IF he was innocent God would take care of it. Left us kind of wondering where he stands.

I only ask because people are often symbols for others but if the actions fit, that's the person the dream is about.

That's unfortunate but people are human which is why He didn't trust himself to their care.

I pray for a supernatural peace and grace between you and your pastor. It seems like a huge opportunity for the devil to cause division and I just ask God for unity and grace where humans fail us.

AND! I praise God that He is faithfully our Comforter whenever we need comforting. :)

Hugs,
Mia
