On the first post of every thread on right hand side there is a plus or minus (like rep points for people, but for the thread) once you vote you can see the results, and if people give you negative, it has red on it, so you can see how good/bad the thread is voted.

Oh no, you poor dear ... you are sick way too much! I honestly think you are overworking yourself. I know you need the money, but if you are spending all your money on doctor visits, then ... is it really worth it?

I'm not trying to preach, just maybe something to think about. All of us here think you push yourself too hard hun.

Dont give those people another thought. Some people just like to cause trouble because they can be anonymous about it. Dont even think about it.

havent seen any of the new seasons, but I always love watching reruns.

Sweetie, even when i was only working one job, I still have a ton of Dr bills cause of the RA. So I actually NEED the second job just to pay for that!!!
Today... yes I prolly overdid it, knowing I have been ill (thought about calling next door to managers brother and see if he would come in for me tonight cause i am pretty sick, but Manager and owner are out of town on business trip right now, so wouldnt look good for me to call out.)
But I'll go home and dose up again, and try to sleep it off. I have a double today, and then its the weekend. so it wont be tooooo terrible.


Before all of this.... I used to NEVER get sick. but since RA is an auto immune disease, I think the meds and the disease are wearing my immune system thin, and you know..... I deal with how many people all day? So I am probably just sitting here absorbing all their germs all day.

Have you looked into collecting some kind of disability? (I'm not quite sure how it works)

I acually go to a "free" clinic (its income based) but they have me on a 50% slide... so i have to pay half of what everything really cost.
I am not sure what kind of disability stuff a 21 year old person can collect.
I have to find some insurance soon too, jsut havent felt up to searching around for it.

Insurance may be tricky because of a pre-existing condition. But you should look into it, it's free to check rates. Your jobs dont offer insurance?

I know people as young as 18 on disability ... I'm not sure what the qualifications are ... I'm assuming you have to prove you can't work.

well i can work (althougha few weeks i probably SHOULDN'T have) but i am not the kind of person who wants to sit around at home.... or be labeled as disabled for that matter.

I guess I have to look at how much the insurance will cost compared to how much i am paying anyways.
I still have to make an appointment at the expensive specialist still too.......

Maybe you can at least get some benefits, like a handicap plate for your car???

One of my best friends is young and has MS. She works but she also gets some kind of benefit ... and she has the handicap plate. She is super active but when she's having an episode she is totally knocked out.

Maybe look into that insurance before seeing the specialist? When my bf was unemployed he had blue shield, and he paid less than I did for my fancy work insurance.

There's got to be some kind of assistance you can get ... it doesn't mean you are totally helpless, but it's also not your fault that you have this disease/illness (I'm not exactly sure how RA is categorized).

I gots the Flu or something... thought i was better (started last Friday with fevers and what not)

but now I have fevers again, been throwing up all night and what not. (and i threw up my last steriod dose)

the bones in my legs hurt (as everything else in my bod right now)
but no swelling or anything really.
I'll be better in a day or so prolly.
