I was just shaping my eyebrows in the mirror and thought 'OMG i look so ugly without makeup on'(iv just came out the shower)

I couldnt never imagine if all of a sudden makeup vanished and there was no more...Id totally die.Makes me cringe even thinking about it

I have to always wear makeup. Even if i was only going to the shops which is like 1 minute away from me.

My daily routine is: Get up, shower 1hour,makeup 2 and half hours, hair 2 hours, dressed up to 1 and half hours(change my clothes about 3 times before i feel right)nails...purfume to match my feeling.....coffee..THEN i can go out...

makeup routine consists of

Foundation...then powder foundation over the top...Then blusher...then i shape my eyebrows properly...Then i put eyeshaddow on...Then fake lashes...then mascara(atleast 3 layers of mascara)...then touch my eyeshaddow up lol....eyeliner...Then lipgloss =/...

I always take my handbag full of makeup with me everywhere for when i need to fix my makeup.

You coud say im a makeup freak!...but i love it.

What do you think of makeup? Which do you think is better....Natural beauty or fakery.

As for me....100% fakery is my life lol.

I never wear makeup unless I'm performing or going out to the theatre or attending a special party. Generally, make up makes me break out, and so whatever I may use for the performance or going out has to be ecological and good for the skin.

hun its not the make up that makes you a beautiful person...its who you are!

I've seen pics of you and there is no way you could look ugly, even eithout make up!

Personally I dont wear make up any more...I used to always wear at least mascara and eyeliner, but cant even be bothered with that anymore

Plus I have psoriasis, so make up is not good for my skin

I love my makeup so much tho...i just dont feel right witrhout it...but i guess...its how you feel that counts...right?

I totally agree with Lea sweetie, there is no way no make up make you look un pretty. You are gorgeous!

I wear a light cover-up due to adult acne. Really embarrassing to say, I was my face 3 times a day, I don't touch my face a lot, and I have a really healthy diet but no matter what I use or do I still get break-outs. I also am addicted to eye liner. I don't wear a lot of it, but I like to do my make up more for fun and enjoyment that an utter need of necessity for it. I like feeling all dolled up, but natural just highlighting my favorite feature (my eyes). As hypocritical as this may sound though, I don't go out with out make-up it makes me feel to bland. To go to the store, I just wear eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss.

I had people for much of my life telling me that I wasn't pretty without makeup, which after I became an adult, I thought that assertion was utter nonsense and my self esteem got better after I got away from such toxic people.

I don't know if that's the case with you, I would most certainly hope not. Of course such words did make me grow up not wanting to support the cosmetic industry. I rebelled against the whole makeup thing and always affirmed that true beauty is manifest within.

I very rarelywear any makeup ...maybe lipstick if i go out for an evening but not any more than that...my left eye is so bad that i can't see without my glasses and its difficult to put on eye makeup without glasses ...and before you all ask, no i cannot wear contacts

Me neither. I have nastagnus in both eyes (meaning they move all the time). This means I can't drive a car or get my pilot's license (I love to fly).

Its the other way for me..People keep telling me im more pertty without makeup.Iv been wearing makeup since i was like 5..6 when i got hold of my mums makeup bag =P.

Might be the fact that im a total girly girl aswell...Love Pink...love heels..adore makeup and have to have my hair looking nice...I always have to wear something pink...Cant go out without something pink on =).

I never used to bother with make up, i just thought it was a waste of time, the first time i wore make up properly was on my wedding day lol but i do use foundation on my skin when ive got spots lol

OMG Tiddly Winks! That is so totally what I've been told for most of my life!!XD Especially that 'What kind of young adult are you who still don't wear makeup like all the other kids?'

Yes, it does get to your self-esteem...glad you could get away from people like that.. Unlike me...XD
And I totally don't even want to think about wearing make up. For one thing, I don't know how...and I feel it's such a waste of time (no offense here xPink.Pixel.Princessx..)...I get like to get dress and go out without a worry..the most I'd do is a lipgloss..XD

That's not to say I'm a natural beauty...I'm not at all and people tell me all the time..XD I just couldn't care enough...though it does hurt a bit...

I think it should be about what your motives are. Are you wearing make-up because it makes you feel happy? Maybe for you make-up is like jewelry or shoes -- you just feel more like yourself when you wear it. If you are wearing it for fear of being ugly, then maybe you should experiment with thinking about all the many ways you can be beautiful outside of just make-up. Personally, I wear a little make-up when I go to work or make a professional presentation. For me, wearing make-up feels grown-up and makes me feel more confident the same way wearing a blazer or a suit does.

I think i just wear it because it makes me feel happy...Makes me feel pretty.

i never wear make up!!!!! i know i should but i don'y feel like it when i go to college cause i go to study but i always look pretty and polished without make up , natural beauty matters most !

most people tell me I look about the same with or without makeup.

I don't wear heavy makeup most of the time,unless it is for a special occasion or night party.

i wear "nature looking" makeup (i use mineral makeup) and everyone always says they can't tell i'm wearing any, but one time i went to work without it to pick something up and this girl came up to me and said, "OMG i can totally tell when your not wearing makeup now!"

in any case, hun if you love wearing it and it makes you feel good, wear it!! that's what i say. and if you don't wear it and you look good, that's great too!

i dont have a favorite type of makeup. I wear a large variety of it.

like Sarah, I have a variety of make-up brands. I love estee lauder make-up and maybelline minerals cover up. A few days ago I bought avon cover-up to give it a try and I love it!!
