  1. Morning guys, sorry I've had no time to log on this week, not to here or Facebook, poor Zoonie is going to be in a real state.
Hopefully will catch a session this week and sort out the Gift Registry too.

  2. Hiya a quick fly by from me - things have been either frantic or tricky here, not really sure which, but I don't seem to have any time for anything these days and yet don't seem to be achieving anything either - does that make any sense at all?

Hope everyone is ok, don't have time to read back right now, but LOOK, Squirrel - hello stranger!

As for the Gift Registry I think I really have to give it up because I'm just not getting time to play and no one really seems to be enthusiastic about collecting the stuff any more either.
    I guess the game peaked?

I'm a real ray of sunshine today aren't I, sorry about that, will try and snap out of it soon as I can *hugs all round*

  3. OK playmates going to have to love and leave you for another time - got things to do.

ED is coming this weekend (until Monday night) with her B/F, so doubt I'll be on line - will be thinking of you all though and hope that everyone has a great weekend (especially you Tanya)
    Byeee for now.

  4. Hi, not feeling very well and having computer issues which mean I haven't been around.

Hi Mindy, Hi BG, Tanya, Kijo and anyone else who looks in

Just sitting with a mug of hot tea looking at quite a nice day outside - a bit of sun, but it seems to have gone chilly already - hope it's not a very early Autumn!

I'll have a think for one must try recipe Kijo - is there anything you don't like to eat?

Tanya - must be you and me both, you know how it is with me and my mother. How old's your MIL? and does she normally live on her own?

  5. Right, I'd better be off Bee, sort out some temporary car insurance for ED this weekend. She and her b/f are coming to stay as they're attending a wedding down here and want to use our car.

Then we have a trip to the local tip lined up - we should have our own parking bay!!!

    See you soon
    x

  6. Sorry I disappeared something came up.

Kijo, that's great news, all much more positive for you - good luck!

We're ok Bee thanks, lovely sunny day...just finding it really hard to focus and work out what we're going to do in life (I think we need to sharpen our ideas up very soon)

  7. Has taken ages for the pics to load one by one - grrr...looks like a really fun weekend, no wonder you were exhausted after!

Hi there Army - such a long time no see.

I have no routine at the moment, I'm all over the shop and our fledgling plans aren't really getting going as yet - never mind, early days and lots of adjustment to do.

Kijo did I see somewhere that your move's approved? when are you going to be doing it?

  8. Good Sunday morning all

Hi everyone, just dropping in, Hoping you are all well
I am home briefly from a very wet camping trip in Wales. We are off again tomorrow to visit my niece in Skegness, really hoping the weather improves!!!!

Oooh Marie, camping in wet Wales, rather you than me - will keep my fingers crossed for better weather this week for you - all I really know of Skeggie is that old slogan 'Skegness...sooooo bracing!' If all else fails, that should dry you out a bit Laughing

Hi all ... it is Saturday night and almost time for me to get in bed ... what an exciting life I lead!! There is a part two to the story .. I have to be back at work in about 5 hours .....

I am having a good visit with the MIL .. She is enjoying my Kindle and is quiet as a mouse.. Why didn't I think of this before?? hehe

It was really nice today to come home to lunch on the table and not have to worry about it. She is very sweet to have around like that.

Hi Tanya, glad you're getting an upside to MiL's visit. Tell me, is Kindle the e-reader? not used one myself.
My life really isn't very exciting at the moment either, lots of physical work in the garden - now the house looks a state again ... it's never ending isn't it.

Hi BG, for some reason I hadn't realised that you were starting the festival work quite so soon, let's hope your sleep leaves you rested!

I woke at half six this morning, convinced it was time to get up. IMOM said 'What are you doing? go back to sleep now' He sprinkled me with his imaginary sleep dust and next thing I knew he had brought a mug of tea to the bedside and it was about 140 minutes later

So - his 'imaginary sleep dust' worked a treat!

Have been looking at the pictures of Chelsea Clinton's wedding. They've obviously released just a handful of photographs, none with their bridesmaids or the groom's parents Sad
The couple look very much in love, and I like her dress (until the skirt starts!)

Re Pet Society, I have got in intermittently, but I think my connection must be too poor now the game's got more features and the house is so full (or something) as 9/10 times it just will not load!

Can anyone check Kitty's first room please and see if we have all the stuff for Dawny Dawn from the TWS (Include anything TWS that Kitty's wearing) TY

  9. Solo dancing? can be a great stress reliever! lol.

Morning - it was quite a nice day yesterday, but we did have some rain, and it rained overnight...so this morning it's really dark - I could go back to bed and sleep all over again, am sore and pretty well seized up from all the gardening we've been doing, but am so looking forward to it when it's finally all cleared, then we can do some replanting.

    Has anyone any weekend plans?

  10. Morning - lovely day, so OH and I are going out (Bodiam Castle, lunch and then Sheffield Park Gardens, all in Sussex if anyone wants a look on Google) It's a lovely day and we're so weary from hard gardening. I covered myself in Factor 30 yesterday, but missed my back, which is just slightly sore today - silly woman that I am!

Good morning! Finally woke up early enough and I still missed Gill. Have been sleeping in a bit lately, all the way till 7:30 or so. OF course I'be been staying up until 2 so no real gain.

I keep missing you lately, bear with me - you know it's a strange old time...am thinking of you all though x
Tanya, I feel your pain - didn't like my late MiL at all, she had a cunning way of saying really insulting things to me on the quiet and if I ever told OH he'd say that I'd taken it the wrong way 'she didn't mean it like that' - I knew just exactly how she meant it!
Keep your chin up and vent all you like

    Hi everyone,

My news of the day : the air conditioning in our condo building has been broken since monday morning! It is 83 degrees in my condo!!
    Mad
We are soooo hot! My daughter and I went down to the pool to cool off this morning. I can't wait for it to be fixed!!!!!

Hi Nancy, we don't have air con in our homes over here, just some shops and office buildings, but WOW! having had some hot days this summer (and nights) I really sympathise.
Hope it gets fixed soonest before you pass out.

Was up all night with throbbing sinus pressure so I decided to call my doctor today ... who turns out is on vacation for A MONTH with no one filling in for him. I had to locate an urgent care and waited two hours to be seen. It wasn't the most pleasant afternoon. Sad But at least now I got my meds.

Poor you Mindy, it's no joke - fancy going away all that time and not organising any cover Sad
    Get well soon.

Wish - you made me laugh out loud...we SO need to see some of those pics.
Glad you had a lovely, if exhausting, weekend. Hope to catch up with you soon.

  11. Morning All

BG, I can't believe the festival work has come around again already!

Mindy, get well soon honey, that sounds really miserable and I sympathise with the sinus issues.

Likewise Kijo, SO annoying when professional offices fail to be as professional as they ought to be, it's as though they fail to realise the effect on real people who're waiting for them to get their act together.

Love your junglesque description Frannie - we don't get the chirruping crickets, but here we can hear the whirring grasshoppers - they were harvesting across the lane so it was quite a hot and noisy day yesterday ...
IMOM and I were busy, busy, am trying hard to tackle this garden...it's back breaking work, but looking so much better.
Trouble is we're going to need to buy loads of new top soil (our soil is as hard as rock) and tend it well before we can replant.

I looked down at our pond as well yesterday - in all t his heat it's less than a quarter full Sad

I noticed today that there is a link circulating around Facebook for free credits. DO NOT click on it. If you want to see what it is I mean; it's on my page because I checked it out for curiousity's sake. I did not sign up for anything and I did change my password. Now I am warning people that I suspect it to be a con job and that they should be careful.

There are no free credits through that link, which takes you to a place in the Czech Republic, instead you end up in some weird place with a black screen.

I can't stress it enough. Be very careful with what you click on in facebook, especially for that so-called free stuff. If the links take you to a strange place away from Facebook, close the browser immediately. If the browser doesn't close, then restart your machine without saving whatever information is in the browser. (Some browsers will ask if you want to save the information. Click on 'no'.)

Anyway, that's my bit of advice tonight. Smile

Thanks for the warning, I really don't understand this credit thing, I think they give you far too few to do anything with (I got 15 and couldn't find out what to do with them) - and so to gain anything you have to purchase more Sad

  13. Aaah right, where will you be travelling to?

The gardening shouldn't be so bad, but we've let it get really badly out of hand, so we're paying for it having to put hard work in now Ashamed

  14. I'm ok thanks. I think I said above though, did so much weeding and gardening yesterday that I got out of bed this morning and was really aching - I think the answer is to do more...but carefully.

How are you? Are you on summer break now?

  15. Aaaw Frannie

Mindy, I just don't know how you fit it all in!

I could hardly get out of bed this morning - did far too much gardening (really heavy weeding) and my back feels seized up, what an old crock I am today.

Hopefully the missing furniture is going to be delivered today - we shall see.
