  1. Here I am in the forum again where we talk about anything but the dreams...So I want to share a poem with you all, I love to write and seven years ago God told me to write all the stories of the expeiences that we have had together. After all this time it is finally coming to, well, if not to harvest....at least to fruition :o) But I love to write and I wanted to share a poem that I wrote to God when I first fell in love with Him .

    I know so little this is true,
    but in my deepest darkest hours my heart is comforted by you.
    Insight grows with passing days
    observing others and their ways
    but through the times of misty haze...its your love, shining through.

    Others told me who to be,
    what to do, or how to see....
    but truth was revealed to me through your love
    and it's constancy.

    You instilled in me a desire to grow
    you reached out til you touched my soul
    and made me know that I was whole..and that I never was alone.

    I know so little, this is true....but you know, I think the world of you!!!!

    Any other poets out there....Ill go get my second cup of coffee and be right back :o)!!!!

  2. Please pray for my friend Michael in Northern California. He has been without a home for a long time. He recently got a sign shaking job and made enough for a small apartment. I told him when he finally gets his home I will make him an apple pie...and I did!!! We were so happy....but I ran into him Friday and he said his boss had to lay him off ....pleeeeeese Father...Help Michael get a new job b efore he loses his home and I pray Michael will know it is directly from your hand and give you the glory. Praise God ...love you Lord.

    Please pray for my friend as the Lord guides you. ~thanks ~

  3. Are We Eagerly Waiting His Coming?

    There are so many scriptures that talk about how we should be in regard to the coming of Christ Jesus. We are to love His coming 2 Timothy 4:8, to look for His coming, Philippians 3:20 and be ready for His coming Mt 24:44 and to pray for His coming Revelations 22:20.

    So one year during a sermon by my pastor whom I greatly love, I was caught off guard to hear the words that he shared this day.

    “How many of you are looking forward to the rapture ?” Hands go up all over the place. “How many of you are ready right now and looking forward to it right now, If Christ came for you today to be caught up in the twinkle of an eye?” I am still raising my hand, man I am ready. But then pastor says to us,

    “Shame on you all! What about all those other people out there that are lost, what about them?

    This really concerned me and I talked to God about it and was not released from the situation until God led me to talk to my Pastor. I didn’t want to. This was the first time in over ten years that I ever felt led to correct my pastor on any issue but the Bible clearly wants us to look forward to the the coming of our Lord and Savior in joyful expectation. I also knew that as a leader and pastor he was bombarded with criticism and complaints regularly and I did not want to be seen as part of this group. Still God was leading be to do so, and I made an appointment with him and went in to visit a few days later. I did not feel comfortable doing this, but I was obedient.

    My pastor listened to what I has to say, which was basically, my understanding, that when Gods children were caught up in the twinkling of an eye…God still made provision for the rest of humanity to have the opportunity to call on the living God for salvation and receive Christ as their savior up until the very end of the tribulation.

    When I was done, my pastor told me that he would not discuss this with me. His concern was that the body was divided on such issues as the timing of the “rapture” and it was not relevant.. I knew that I was obedient to God to come in and share with pastor and I had no ought against my brother…but I left feeling sad. Something was missing and I didn’t understand the situation. My pastor dismissed me before I had a chance to show him the scriptures that tell us to look forward to the coming of Christ, or for him to show me the scriptures that he believed supported his instruction that we should be ashamed of ourselves for eagerly anticipating Christ’s return. I left on good terms of course, with my pastor, but with an empty feeling.

    There was nothing else to do really, but it was a puzzle for me. How could my pastor whom I have agreed almost perfectly on all things for ten years or so…how could he say and believe this thing that is so contrary to what I have learned in the Bible. A thing that ministered so clearly to my heart. And that thought was always with me like an unsolved puzzle. It wasn’t until much, much later that I realized that my pastor believed that Armageddon and the “rapture” happened at the same time, the end of the seven years of tribulation. Even now I can’t remember exactly how I came to this understanding but it immediately became clear.

    It all began to make sense to me. At the time, It didn’t cross my mind that anyone believed that the rapture would happen at the same time as the end of the world. I believed then, as I believe today that what God was planning was a lot like Noah and the ark. Cause that’s what God tells us in Mathew 24:37.

    As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking , marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field. One will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.” Therefore keep watch, because you don not know on what day your Lord will come.

    My take on this was that life was normal, they didn’t expect a sudden danger upon the earth They were not prepared but God had prepared Noah and his family and the Bible does not say that Noah kept it a secret…others just did not believe what he believed.

    On the other hand, the coming of the son of Man is also described in another way…I believe that God is describing an event different from the one described above. This appears to be a distinctly separate event. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days (for there will be a great tribulation such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be. And if those days had not been shortened, no human being would be saved; but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. ) the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven and the powers of the heavens will be shaken; then will appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory; and he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from on end of heaven to the other.
    Mathew 24:29

    In the first scenario (two in the field or two grinding) the people seem to be experiencing everyday life and the sudden disappearance takes place. In the second scenario the whole earth will be able to see our lord coming in the clouds.

    In the first event there is no indication of a horrible disturbance or war upon the earth…the people are just engaged in their everyday chores. I don’t imagine people will be working in the fields or grinding during the most horrible part of the tribulation….they will be hiding and fighting for their life. In the Holocost the chosen people went underground to hide from being captured and slaughtered by the enemy. I believe the tribulation will cause a lot of fear on this earth.

    I am explaining this to show how I have come to understand God through His words but I have no problem with anyone having a different take on it. I am only sharing my story of how I came to understand why my pastor had such deep concern for the ones left after the “rapture”….he believed the two events above were at the same time….which if that be the case…he would be absolutely correct to lament the fact that time had run out for salvation for humanity.

    But I believe that the rapture is a wonderful thing in that there will be millions of people around the world…maybe even on the verge of believing…just pondering that step of surrendering to God, when all the born again Christians are removed off the earth in a twinkle of an eye. This is time for all humanity on the earth to have the opportunity for salvation in Christ Jesus. The seven year tribulation is a horrible thing, but Hell is worse and eternal. God designed a plan not only to save humanity…but to passionately persuade the lost of the lost in the very end of times…the tribulation, that even then, there is still hope for eternal life in Christ.

    Just as in the days of Noah….Noah was mocked. So is our faith is mocked in these end times as well, (and according to the word of God will become more and more horrible in these end times. Mathew 24:9) to but with Noah once the doors to the ark were shut….it was over. In the tribulation God is offering all people of the world a chance (even after the rapture) for all to come to Christ

    So my pastor was right in that we not engage in argument about our different understandings of the word of God…but also I believe that a constant desire to know the truth is what we need to carry with us in our every moment. The truth helps us to understand others and we are sanctified in the truth of God.

    If God comes for us in the beginning of the seven year tribulation, or the middle, or the end….It is not my job to convince anybody about anything…but it is my job to obey God. God is the Creator of the universe and all things….God can come anytime He pleases…praise God!!!!!!! But whenever that is…..man….I’m ready!!!!!

  4. ``ARE YOU REALLY BELIEVING GOD? ```THE SHEEP WILL HEAR HIS VOICE``

    The sheep will hear the voice of God. The Bible says it’s true. Of course its true…it is in the word of the Living God, that very same word that became flesh and walked among us. So how come so many believers are frustrated when they do not hear the voice of God?

    There are so many ways that God speaks to us. In my life I have felt the leading of the Holy Spirit…by Gods peace I have felt led. When I was twenty two, God spoke literally and audibly to me from the sky. One time I was playing Scrabble and God spelled out a very specific message to me to remind me of something important. God gives me dreams that have messages for me and others and sometimes God tells me in my spirit or my mind to do something. When it is a big request or when I do not have certainty that this is truly the Living God, I ask for confirmation when I need it. Satan tries to imitate God and the Bible says satan can come to us as a being of light...satan tries hard to confuse and trip us up, I want to walk in Gods light. I want Gods discernment.

    God is not annoyed by the He fact that I want confirmation from Him. my dad, the Father of us, knows that I want to serve only Him. My Father knows that I love Him. God gets all the glory, I am His kid, happy to learn how to go about doing the will of the Father. I want to get it right. I am excited and happy to be his kid! When I was growing up once in awhile my dad would ask me if I’d like to go to the auto parts store with him. (Poor guy…had only a house full of girls for so many years) I was so happy to be with my dad. Did I want to go to the boring stinky dirty car parts store with my dad? You bet. I so loved my father and adored any time that I could spend with him…and to this day that stinky oily old car smell reminds me of how much I love my father. Sometimes that obedience to God can feel like a stinky dirty car parts store…obedience isn‘t always pleasant, .but it is worth it because we love our Father. It pleases Him. It is the confirmation that we are honoring our Father by believing him.

    God tells us to test the spirits, because satan is a roaming lion looking for whom he may destroy…I only want to please God, not the enemy so I ask for God to confirm what he has said to me, not because I don’t trust God, but because I want to obey only God. I don’t want the enemy to have a foothold in my life in any way.

    If God tells you to do something, do you do it? I have come to believe through my experiences with God…that if he tells us something and we don’t do it……over and over again…before too long He will just stop asking us to do things. ……that is until we do that one thing that we are trying to ignore and justify. ….Its like we are saying, “God you know me…I will do anything you want …except that one thing …I am only human” but God is pulling together and raising an army that will go out and do the will of the Father. They are the faithful that believe God and it is accounted to them as righteousness (as this is how God looked at Abraham and God is not a respecter of persons.) If God says that Abrahams believing is counted as righteousness it is true for all his children as well.

    If we can’t be faithful in the “small things” that he tells us to do…how can we expect God to keep talking to us. This is not a hobby…God loves his children yes….but don’t we want Our Father to look upon us and say “Well done my good and faithful child?” I do. I want dialogue with my dad in heaven. I want a daily camaraderie with my father and I want to go about doing His will on this earth. It begins with believing God and then if you believe….do what he says. Don’t pick and choose which instructions from the Lord are important and which are not….they are written on your heart…you know. Make no provision for any rebellion against the word of the Living God.

    Swearing once in a while, a white lie, a partial truth, anger against a sister or brother, judgment against the one that satan used to terrorize you, pride, ……Nail these to the cross…forgive, ask god to forgive you for judging your enemies, pray for your enemys………..begin again. Every word that comes from the father is worthy of our believing and obeying. Believe God. If you truly believe God obedience will follow…that is your fruit, your confirmation.

    God speaks to us with the written word the Bible…..do we obey ?
    God speaks to us through the leading of the Holy Spirit. Do we obey ?.
    God has His ways written on our heart so that we do not sin against Him….do we obey?

    God tells us to call that friend
    Visit that neighbor
    Pray for your enemies
    Cast your cares on him
    Do not judge others
    Have no other Gods above Him…like our children, our mates, our passions, our hobbies our will our …(you fill in… ………. ) or do we think we are so busy in this life we don’t really have the time to spend with God…believe God…walk in his ways and

    If we are not obeying God….we are not really believing Him. If we believe that a rain storm is coming we bring and umbrella, we are prompted to action by our belief that is will rain. If we believe the gas gauge on the car when it shows near empty, …we go straight to the gas station. If a woman believes that she is pregnant…she begins to turn down that glass of wine and eat well. The fruit of our believing….spurs us into action. So, in other words...That is the fruit of faith. …..action. walking in the word of God which is the meat.

    So, pondering all this. When you wonder why you may not hear the voice of God as often or as clearly as you long for….consider these things. Are you believing God…(look for the fruit to provide confirmation, does your action (obedience) confirm this? That is the confirmation on are you believing God.
    When you begin to look forward to obeying God whenever the opportunity arises…and exercise this at every opportunity…before long you will begin to clearly hear His voice….because:

    who are the children of God? They are the children of the promise…the ones who believe God.

    ~~~~~~~For Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness~~~~~~
  5. Please pray for the truth to be revealed in our local Juvenile Hall...If you do a Chico News and Review you can read the story, but a friend of my has a son who was a victim. It is actually the staff and counselors who are staying silent on the many accusations of child molestation of boys and girls, physical and emotional abuse and staff doing drugs, with and partying with the kids as well. I raised Foster children who were high risk for many years and one of the counselors of my children, is actually is being charged with pulling a gun on the author of the expose'. This is so evil. Please take time to say a fervent prayer that God would help to heal these children and keep the children who are brave enough to testify..free from harm. Many many children are scared right now and afraid to stand up because of past abuse, some of course are still incarcerated and say they are punished and beaten when they tell. Thank you for your prayers.....God Bless, Linda Irish
  6. This is the forum where we can get to know each other right? So I was having a private laugh to myself that I thought that I would share with you too. My little grandson has just started a CHristian pre-school a few weeks ago. This is a big deal in our family. Kio is learning how to pray prayers with his classmates and is now sharing his prayers with all of us (God is good God is great, thank you for our food, Amen. In addition he is learning manners, thanky you, sorry, excuse me...you get the picture. Sometimes Kio forgets exactly the right words to say...but he is working on it and mom and dad are helping. This is all "big boy" stuff that he is trying to do his best. Well my daughter called me today to tell me that yesterday when Kio was spending time with his mommy and dad....he accidently had a little gas, "Kio, what do we say?" my daughter gently asked him, and after a thoughtful moment my little grandson earnestly and quietly said, "amen"
  7. Years ago I began reasearching the Bible to see If there is any substance at all to all femal looking angels that we see in all the great old art and in any gift shop or Bible store these days....I have only read of men looking angelic beings that appear like big guys. I know that female looking angels sound romantic and lovely...but for confirmation. Can anyone provide a sound scripture to show that any of the angels described in the Bible are even remotely described as females?
    I would like to know the truth.... Eve was created different than man in order to have babies with her husband and of course to feed those babies...babies.... I have thought for a long time now that I have seen no evidence in the Bible of female angels.... and then I thought, why would we have female angels If angels do not procreate? I am interested in scriptural input..Does anyone have any thoughts on this. Thank you, Linda Marie Irish
  8. dear Cholette, I have experienced this denomic entity myself. In the past before I Knew what it was I could feel it around my neck. This denomic entity, if it is the same one that I experienced in the past, tried to stop me from speaking out for Christ. the enemy is trying to come against this young man for whatever reason, and the fact that Satan is trying to stop him is confirmation that God has a plan for this young man. I plead the blood of our precious Jesus over Him...I pray for God's divine will in his life and that the enemy in the name of Jesus is bound and cast out. keep this young man in your light Father and lead him in all your ways. I pray salvation for him and his family and that He will have a hunger for the living God. Keep him free of this demon Lord and I pray that this young man speak out in your name for your Glory. In Jesus name. Amen
  9. Butterfly...I am fairly new to the site...If god is directing you to post the truth that he has shared with you, keep doing it. Praise God. Everyone is in a different place spiritually...I too have been under attack by other Christians for what I have shared. when I am talking to other Christians...if they dont agree or don't "get it"....and you know that God has instructed you to share... it is a hard place to be in. I agree with the others, that we will endure persecution. I am sorry in my heart that you are feeling under appreciated by your brothers and sisters.... they too are in a different place....all of us are.
    I know God loves us, his children and wants us to all appreciate and love each other....if someone tells me something that does'nt bare witness with my spirit...I put it on a shelf to re-examine it later. We are not to offend our brothers or sisters because of what they eat or drink etc....how they see their life in Christ. We are all on this adventure together.
    I have only been on about a month...but the topics that you listed sound fascinating...my take on what you are saying is this. my concern is that some of us may be more interested in the gifts than the giver. I am not accusing anyone in particular....we must pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ that "The Father of Us, and the Christ and the Holy Spirit" we should seek with all of our heart....the supernatural gifts of God should come next and I would pray that we would all desire to put those things in order to please God. He is the one we love.....and Are we loving Him, spending time with him, sharing with God and looking forward to God's presence in our life. That may be the reason that more people respond to prophetic dream posts...and such. We can all get the word by going to church on Sunday...but the supernatural things that God does are not always preached in all churches..... I love God first...I am in love with God first.....I am interested in dreams yes.....but I would drop my interest in dreams in a second....if I thougt for a moment that I was spending more time pondering dreams than spending quality time with the love of my life...
    Do not be discouraged sister.
    Now....where did you say you posted the Obama message(s)...that does sound interesting to me!!!!! and put titles on your posts...so when I browse the posts...I know the topic....Good to meet you Butterfly and God bless your heart. Love your sister in Christ Jesus...Linda Irish :0)
  10. Please join me in prayer for a friend and her boyfriend. She is a Christian and her boyfriend is so far involved in drugs and witchcraft that he has shared that he believes Christ wont help him now. I am not sharing their names, but God knows who they are. God loves them both. I pray that they will know the truth that God loves them and that they will be delivered from bondage from the enemy ...I pray for salvation for them...That the light of the Father of us will sourround and protect them and that the enemy will flee...that they will be rescued and fall in love with The Father the son and the Holy Spirit and that they will love God for the rest of their lives...that they will walk in high places with a holy passion to help the lost children of God. In Jesus name we pray...Amen
  11. Received a revelation from God on Tuesday night in Northern California that God is raising up and calling together some of his children to write their stories...His stories...Aaron McMahan is a published author that God is using to instruct and teach. He saw a vision of all the writers covered in a clear shiny liquid....God revealed to me that the clear shiny liquid was "clear translucent like glass" same as the streets in Heaven...that in His people God is raising us up as streets of gold (translucent like glass) the books we write will be sent out as streets, like street ministry to all the world. After all, jesus is the word that became flesh. This new media is of God and God is calling upon his children ....It is so exciting to be in these days...Praise God!!!!!
  12. There have been times in my past where I felt so lonely because I couldn't feel Gods presence...God had other plans...he was teaching me to walk in faith...not to go by "feel" but to believe God when He said that he would never leave me not forsake me.
    Abraham believed God (when God said that his elderly wife would concieve and have a child...)The Bible says that Abraham believed God and it was accounted to him as righteousness.
    Believe God ...He will never leave you nor forsake you...let him lead you to walk in faith and not by sight. he is with you. He is with you. He is with you. So fly.......In the spirit of the Living God!!!!!!and let the Joy of the Lord be your strength....God Bless you.
  13. Thank you for your prayers for kelsey...I just got off the phone with a praise report from my friend - kelsey's pancreas was failing and she was in a desperated situation....the praise report is that her pancreas has miraculously fully recovered. I asked if Kelsey was a Christian and my friend said....she is learning about Christ but has not been saved yet...please pray for Kelsey's salvation. and another gastric bypass fellow worker shared with me that her body is continually covered in dark bruises and she struggles with health issues as well, (apparently this was older more dangerous surgery) please pray for Jennifer as well....and our girl Jennifer, i dont believe that she knows Christ either.....thank you for prayers for continued healing and salvation for these two ladies. thank you.
  14. In understanding our dreams and how God is talking to us in our dreams, it is very important to have discernment in the spirit. if you are a new Christian or new to the concept of understanding dreams this site has training so that you will be walking through this training in the way that God would have you walk through these dream experiences...and that you would gain Godly knowledge. i would encourage all of us to continue gleaning knowledge by reading the training regularly.
    The enemy is like a raging lion seeking out whom he may devour, Let us not walk in the spirit without our armour on, as i just read in one of "Mia's musings" . I want to share with the brothers and sisters here on this site, a scripture that explains how to sharpen up your skills in the area of discernment.
    For every man who partakes only of the milk (knowing the word of God but not walking the word of God) is unskilled in the word of righteousness for he is a baby. But soid food (doing the word of God) belongs to those who are of full age, that is, who by reason of use (doing) have their senses excercised to discern both good and evil. Hebrew 5 11-12 👏 👏 👏
    Doing the Word of God...not just Knowing the word of God. Doing the word is obedience to God....just pondering the word of God is like a baby....just laying there drinking his baby baba. the word was given to us by the living God to walk in it. The word became flesh and walked among us. The word is the lord of us Jesus the Christ. the Bible says, walk in my way and you will know the truth...and the truth will set you free.
    Let us not be hearers of the word only but doers of the word. Let us by reason of use, have our senses excercised to discern bother good and evil. Praise God.
    Let us reach out for all that God has for us, his children...He is a good God and Father and He has a hope for a future all planned out for us... 👏
  15. Dear lurdy...God Bless you. Watching you walk in Gods way and decision make according to the will of God is a witness to others to do the same. I am a mother with eight children...through all the times that we've been through the most comforting scripture to me is that "All things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called together for his purpose" When my son had his skull broken in 3 pieces by a 4 ton truck, when my baby was born lifeless, when one of my sons was tired of drug addition and climbed a mountain to throw himself down....another younger son was thrown in jail for the weekend, by mistake....God was good to his word. Through these situations to stand on Gods promises. I plead the precious blood of our beautiful hero over your son, Father God that you would annoint this boy with a heart for you like David, that he will grow strong in your ways and your integrity Father...that others will be drawn to him because of his strength and light in you. Bring peace to mothers heart and protection to the family from the Most High God...all in Jesus name we come to you, The Father of Us. We love you Lord. Amen
