About this blog
How about rivalries are introduced into mycareer, you are able to NBA 2K21 MT Coins trigger rivalries against other NBA 2K gamers by: being a prick, dunking or scoring onto them and rivalries cause matters such as the rival NBA 2K participant primarily attempting to shield you, even more fans if you score them along with the rival playing more aggressive and fuelling up the play increases fans/other items in swap them playing aggressively. This exactly! We know 2k has the ability to alter NBA 2K player features mid game (instance when NBA 2K player has takeover, they receive a stat boost). Take make attributes also affect.
Draymond Green has the enforcer badge? Any difficult foul he commits causes a 5 attribute boost to his stats for a particular amount of time (like another badges). More Obscure: Have the team NBA 2K participant badge be similar to a takeover. Say Lebron gets his takeover, also has a team NBA 2K participant badge, his teammates receive a progressive boost in stats, before the competition locks up them on multiple straight possessions, or calls for a timeout. Kinda emulate that"oh crap hes leading his team into a run, I gotta stop them." feeling. I could go all day lol. The best part is there is so many directions/potential with a system like this. Just glad I am not.
Can NBA 2K ever consider matchmaking or similar?
It boggles my mind that a game such as this does not care more about matchmaking. At the moment, it seems like there is some minimal attempt to match the evaluations of the MyNBA 2K player characters, but little to match on skill level of the actual NBA 2K gamers. I'm not crazy for thinking that both good and poor NBA 2K players can enjoy NBA 2K more if they had been matched with NBA 2K players of their skill level? The problem right now is that, at least according to what's visible to the user, the measures that are available that you'd use to infer ability are lousy.
The MyRep tier is great, as unskilled NBA 2K players may play a lot of games, boosting up their MyRep. Of course there's win%, but after you begin to do matchmaking based on ability, win% will not be a very good measure, since if the matchmaking is successful, people's win% will remain approximately 50%. (If a single NBA 2K player is good and another is bad, both will have winaround 50%, only 1 man is doing it against good competition, and yet another is doing it buy 2K21 MT at weaker competition, both matched to their own skill level.)
