Tiddly Winks 0 Posted December 11, 2009 I was just thinking with all the talk about the newest films that go on here, I'd thought it would be fun to dig through the movie archives and pick out some favorite classic films. I'm talking about films from the 1930's-1970's thereabouts. I know that many of these films were made before many of us were born, and considering that I was born in 1970, proves it. I can start, some of my favorite classic films are: Breakfast at Tiffany's The Court Jester The Five Pennies To Kill a Mockingbird The Fleisher film 'Gulliver's Travels' Does anyone here have a favorite classic film? Tiddly Winks 0 Posted December 22, 2009 Oh Doctor Zhivago was brilliant...and Henry Fonda in War and Peace. I remember when I was 17, I actually stayed up all night to watch it on TV. (This was before VCRs and such became common place) It was a brilliant film.
