C 5WNE-forzaproleagueracing 0 Posted February 18, 2018 General RulesThe usual rules apply here, rubbing is racing but we have full SIM damage turned on so please be careful.Any incidents that require attention will be reviewed after the race on the replay. There will be no restarts. If there is a huge collision involving 5 or more cars, we will deploy a 'Virtual Safety Car'This will give the damaged cars a chance to get to the pits. With a 'Virtual Safety Car' Make sure everyone in the lobby knows there is a safety car. whoever is in 1st place should slow down to 80MPH and back the pack up, once the issues have been cleared and the damaged cars have reached the back of the pack racing can get underway again at the start line.It is up to the 1st place car to restart the race ANYTIME AFTER THE LAST CORNER however, there should be NO overtaking until after the start/finish line.Backmarkers should give way to passing cars, anyone found holding up cars on purpose will be penalised. This became an issue in Season 1 and i will be clamping down on it even more for Season 2.PRO-AM drivers DO NOT have to give way to PRO drivers, they are both competing for the same points in the same championship so they are racing for position. (Depending on number of registrations lobbies may be splitAs a precaution could everybody prior to qualifying and race day please hard reset your console and reboot your routers to ensure you have the strongest signal possible to race. All races will be started from STANDING START. The rolling starts are too much of an issue.PittingThere will be 2 mandatory pit stops for every 1 hour of racing. This will null the unfair advantage of the very economical Dodge and McLaren. Please follow the pit exit lane as closely as possible to minimise collisions. On some tracks, the AI spits you back out on the racing line, please announce when you are leaving the pits if there is someone approaching you, this way they can try to avoid you. There will also be a mandatory pit stop during the Qualifying race on the FPLR GT Sprint Series weekend.AssistsTraction, Stability & Friction assists WILLl be forced OFF.All other assists are allowed.QualifyingAs there are points to be earned from the qualifying race on a Sprint series weekend, simulation damage WILL be turned ON.It is just like any other race, however the grid order for the main race will be based on best lap times from the qualifying race.
