Thoughts on switching to MCLawl? (UPDATED, READ FIRST POST)

TEST SERVER IS NO LONGER LIVE

Sorry guys, it's not gonna happen. MCLawl utilizes so much of my CPU/RAM compared to fCraft.
Imagine living day by day eating nothing but the healthiest foods, fruits, and vegetables.
Now imagine replacing every one of those meals with a McChurger.
(if you don't know what a McChurger is, do yourself a favor and run a search for it on Google).

We're basically in the same situation here.

Okay, so we're using fCraft to run the server, but in my opinion it could use a few more commands and functionalities.
Here are some commands from MCLawl that could be beneficial --

• /about - Shows the details of the block selected. Also shows the last several players who created or destroyed the block and when
  
• /fly - Toggle: enables flying by placing a 5x5x2 glass block beneath player's feet, which moves to follow the player.
  The glass block is invisible and intangible to other players.
  It will only appear in place of regular air, and does not affect any blocks.

MCLawl also has physics implemented, CTF mode, extra blocks, in-game mail, a lot of other features that you guys should check out by clicking on the first two links.

Unless you can't handle it, I dunno.
Just make sure you have backups of EVERYTHING before you try though.

Another thing, we'll have to totally reorganize, could require a lot of work.
But that's no issue, I'm still all for.

That's not the issue Eric.
The benefits of MClawl isn't what I'm on about, it's the possible repercussions,
that we could A. lose or corrupt our current stuff, and B. didn't he say we couldn't switch before? and C. we will need to reorganize a lot of the ranks and stuff. but C. is no problem.

Anyway, I'm 100% for the change if keep our current maps.
Making portals would help to organize our Corp buildings!
We could finally link different projects, and make more complex stuff, like Eric said.

Hum... Stairs... There's even a command to investigate who greifed... ( this one may be problematic, will it lag the server to have detailed info on each block of the map?)

EDIT: omgeee it's opensource, and written in c#, which I can understand!

MCLawl doesn't work with .fcm map files, so we'll need to dump all of our current worlds to .dat files using WoM.

some things i saw...

physics seem turned off. even if its a 3 on the map. tnt, waterfall, magma dont work same with trains and sprouts.

geyser was abusive.

This server sucks, really. To much console spam, people killing others etc. There's no way you can build. I tried once, but I got slapped, burned, shot, etc.

So yeah, I got too excited for the change. If there's a way you can disable useless commands like missile... no nevermind it just suck.

It is a test server after all. But Eric, this type of input is exactly what we need. All commands are customizable, so we could either give slap/gun/missile to the higher ranks (adepts/experts or just experts), or just get rid of the commands altogether.

Oh okai. My bad. Well if you can put all those abusive commands to Adept or expert+ it would be awesome. Else, I couldn't chat due to the console spamming. Mclawl have some great commands but those who kills and stuff shouldn't be there. I know, I know... test

But theres 1 thing that frustrates me, we cant see hours anymore
