Ericrb 0 Posted January 8, 2012 Promotions after Rookie aren't based on hours. We've set a minimum time requirement to get to know the person. Moufisto could build a map in about 30m, he could be expert in 45m but no one would know him. That's why there's hours requirement. Here's situation A :Someone asks for a rank, he built a.... uh... dungeon that took over 400k blocks to build but only has 10 hours. You promote him to pupil and not mason, but keep in mind the building still apply for the mason rank. @20, promo to mason.Situation B :You're new to adept, you don't know if you feel like promoting someone. He built a "house" and has the hours requirement but you still doesn't feel that it's worth a promotion. Just compare them to you. What did you do to get to pupil? A house? Good, then you won't promote ppl who do 10x10 rainbow squares. They should be promoted the same way you did, sure there's people who got promoted easily... sounds fair.Situation C :A guy with 10 hours with 0 build 0 delete ask for a rank............................you don't promote. Pedobear 0 Posted February 3, 2012 I'm gonna go ahead and bump this, too many are getting artisan, it was made as a rank for the most loyal to the server that aren't fit for adept/the BEST builders. It has been said, it's a building rank, indeed,BUT, they're still getting moderating capabilities. If they want to actively moderate, imo they should:A) Be matureB) Speak decent EnglishC) Totally get taught how to react when someone breaks a ruleD) NOT whine over every little piece of criticismE) BE TRUSTED!!!! <-- very important :3F) Be treated as old adept promotions, two expert's yes votes -> artisan~Kevin
