Millions suffer Microsoft meltdown as Outlook and Teams crashes for millions around the world The first issues were reported at just before 7am this morning, with later Microsoft saying they have identified a 'possible networking issue' as the cause. Why did Outlook crash and will it happen again? Microsoft blames a 'networking configuration issue' for the outage that left MILLIONS around the world unable to access their emails NEW The problems began at 07:00 GMT (02:00 ET) and Downdetector.com, which tracks website outages, showed that more than 5,000 people in the UK reported that they couldn't get into their emails.
