Why do motorcycle manufactures do this...

I thought Id give the Fireblade a good clean today.
By a good clean I mean I take bits off and clean them ..then put them back.. AnywayI took off the side covers that cover the link pipe .underneath that is avery flimsey ally heat shield that shows from the outside and looks all pitted and shitty ..so I took it off with intentions of cleaning it...But I found to My amazement..the stainless steel pipework leading to My underseat akropovic can was a work of art....So now I forget the ally shield and start cleaning the pipework It comes up like a new button.

Sorry Im waffling on a bit...but My point is Why cover up really good engineering with horrible nasty plastic covers.

Im not putting mine back on as it now looks like a real sports bike
And tommorow I will be looking at revealing that beautiful end can that I have got that is covered in stupid plastic covers

I will try and explain for you..
right, get yourself a photobucket account set up, then load your pictures onto your photobucket account, once there on there, Edit the picture, then just resize it to 640 480 large, then replace it with original, then when the picture goes back to your album simply left click on the IMG CODE, and then pop back on the forum right click on the page you want and paste it, hope this helps mate

right, get yourself a photobucket account set up, then load your pictures onto your photobucket account, once there on there, Edit the picture, then just resize it to 640 480 large, then replace it with original, then when the picture goes back to your album simply left click on the IMG CODE, and then pop back on the forum right click on the page you want and paste it, hope this helps mate
