for me i think the song is about you loving someone very much but never have the guts to express what you really feel... chasing pavements is like you keep on following a never ending path, just like loving someone without him/her knowing your feeling towards him/her... they both lead nowhere...

did you understand my interpretation of the song? hehe... how about you? how will you interpret this song?

I interperate it the same as you..

To me she is trying to make the decision of whether she should tell him how she feels, or carry on keeping it to herself

i have another interpretation but i'm not sure if i can explain it correctly... wahahaha...

it's like holding on to a relationship that is falling apart... chasing pavement is like you are doing everything for things to work out even though you know that it's already heading into a breakup... what do you think? hehe
