Contest called SOTW

Alrighty, there's a contest going on in another server called SOTW.
the idea of it, is that people get together and build individually the best thing they can.

The winner, gets a special rank of his own, though i think that is for forums not in game, among other less notable rewards.

now there are two reasons why i bring this up here.
This is exactly the kind of thing we should've or should be doing.
Competitions.
We never had a really distinguished reward though, all we had was a promotion for offer to the winner, which brought up more problems cause it conflicted with our normal routines in promoting people.

B, is that I've sent Onion a copy of the map and its contents, to put up and show you guys what happened while i was away from the serv. this is what i was working on. ^.^

Alright.
So we'll tackle this again, but in the style that ABA are doing it.

Eventually (if this works out for both servers,) i'll have us verse eachover between servers. see if they're up for some of that when you guys practice on each other.

ANYWAY,
The old system was, we had a time limit of an hour or so to make something cool.
But, we're doing it their way, we're gonna give you a week to do it.
It will not be varied by rank, of whom competes. it's free for ALL.
Individually, you may make something, thus entering the competition.

Depending on the situation, we or I will probably ask you to put pic's up like ABA does, of your creation.
Damn it! ABA have a good system, it's hard to think of better ways to tackle this. Makes me feel cheap. We'll have to eventually see how we can improve on this.
Anyway,
The judges will be none other than EVERYONE.
HOWEVER, you cannot vote for yourself. It's hard having just a select people voting. Serioussly.

So, we start sunday. giving you guys some time to see this, and prepare yourselves for it. there will be a map dedicated to this, for you guys.

And.. rewards shall be written in stone, once us experts have had a discussion on it. XP sorry.

You should make a custom rank so everyone would be equal. It's stupid to let a pupil build 1 block at the time while the expert has already finished an entire map.

I considered that, but it's up to the person to get to that higher rank beforehand or during, i don't think people who earned their higher ranks should be penalized.

SOTW + Competition on a forums usually means Sig of the Week competition. Something commonly found on forums. I thought it was some sort of graphics design competition.
