Grief of Jungle Logs that was used for cocoa farm, approx 6 Logs Grief. It was clearly a jungle farm since all the leaves were destroyed by its owner (applefreak197) even though that the farm was next to a jungle biome, but was built in a plain biome.

Temp ban 1 day. Time of ban 9 30 am as of August 11 2012.

Rollbacked, Had to manually remove the tree because it was in the way the rollback [no big deal, had an Eff IV pick (why did it had to be a 2x2 jungle tree :/)], used supplies cause rollback doesn't detect fallen sand and objects that were placed on sand such as ladders.

4.0 Stealing items.
4.1 In general (VL 50)

Stealing items in chests is allowed.
/cprivate someone’s chest is not allowed, also 1.2c.
Harvesting a farm that you can’t replant is not allowed (wheats, warts, etc...)
Stealing anything else will be considered as grief, (3.0).

5.0 Spawn killing.
5.1 Blablabla (VL 50)

Outside of the spawn gates.
Outside someone’s house or town.
Do not kill someone repetitively so that he can’t flee or protect himself.
c. doesn’t apply if the player charges at you.
If a player that doesn’t follow rule 5a + 5b and he decides to go for you, you can defend yourself. It is not a battle trigger, the attacker will be penalised for breaking rules.

6.0 Do not use hacks or cheats. (VL 25*)

Do not use rules at your advantage.
Do not ban, kick, mute if someone didn’t break 1 of these rules^.
Do not tell people what to do, unless it’s about rules.
Do not use moderating power to your advantage.
When you mute, kick or ban someone, tell them the reason. They might not know.

We will work with Violation Level (VL). You do not need to use that system, but I encourage you to still follow it. See what is too much or not.
You don’t need to make a notepad .txt file and store all the VL of everyone. It doesn’t really stack until they hit the jail. When jailed 1 time, we need to know that so the second time will be 1 week.

VL 5-19 = Mute.

VL5, 10 minutes.
VL10, 30 minutes.
VL15, 1 hour.

VL 20-49 = Kick.
If you kicked because someone was spamming, and that he's still spamming after the kick, ban for 1 day.

VL 50-99 = Jail.
50 = 1 day.
75 = 1 week.

VL 100+ = Ban
100 = 1day
150 = 1 week
200 = 1 month? lol
250 = lifetime

Also, I don't really like the idea of jail. I wouldn't stay in there doing nothing, just ban me and I'll come back.

I think giving 3 chances is easy, effortless* and efficient. That's just me though.

Would it be possible to have someone in jail once they returned from their ban? That way, they stay in there until a mod/admin comes on and free them, explaining what they have done. Think of it as like a C ++ code. Once we ban them, we demote to prisoner. So..
