Any ideas on what is up?

To put it simply, every so often I experience a glitch where everything flashes white until they remain so. the only exception seems to be signs and leaves which flash and remain green. The only thing that works to get rid of it is to log off and close minecraft for a bit. When I get back everything is good for a while but then it happens again. To answer a question I'm sure someone is wondering, no, i dont use any texture packs or mods, I play the true blue original minecraft. Any ideas what's up?

Update your graphic drivers.

If it doesn't work:

• Overheating can cause this.
  
• Overheating can break something that can cause this even if the card is not overheating anymore.
  
• Your texture pack can also cause this.
  
• A fresh install of Minecraft may or may not fix it.

Try a fresh Minecraft before.

There's something called Minecraft Portable if you don't want to mess up the original folder.

I literally don't care about graphics. Although, it is a bit tedious to have to restart the game so much so, my recommendation is to reset your texture-pack, or get a custom one if you aren't using one already.
