  1. Barb, Congratulations, that's a beautiful necklace. Holly, wow 11 years! congrats this is great. This is my first time at the race and I'm so excited, I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like for you. I really hope we'll meet.
  2. Wow what a beautiful song! love the voice, love the lyrics just love everything about it!!! I hope so too. As much as I love this song and happy to see him in a good place, there is nothing better then angsty, rocking Dave.
  3. Anyone watching the new season? Just finish watching the third episode and it's really great so far.
  4. Right now I'm reading The Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. It's a series of seven books. It's actually not a new one the first book I think came out in 1991. It's really hard to describe what it's about, it has a mix of pretty much everything. But If I have to describe it in one sentence I'd say it's historical Fiction that happens on the background of 18th century beautiful Scotland. It's got love and war, history and medicine and so much more. It takes you through emotional journey that goes from highest of hope into deepest of despair and the descriptiveness in the books is just amazing. I'm now at the end of the second book (Dragonfly in Amber) and I love every minute of it. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it. I've heard a lot about the Hunger Games so I downloaded it a few months ago (before I've started reading The Outlander) and read a couple of chapter. I know everyone love the books but I have to say I didn't like it much so I stopped reading. Maybe it's just the beginning and it's getting better latter but right now I enjoy The Outlander way too much and I still have five more books to go, so I don't think I'll continue any time soon but maybe one day.
  5. Two more weeks And I still have no idea what I'm going to wear but I'm pretty sure it's not going to be a dress, I never wear dresses and I don't think I'll buy one that I probably wear just once.
  6. I love the combination of dark hair and blue eyes I think it's the most beautiful combination but I understand the need for change. The shade of blond in your photo, Stacy, IMO is too light for you. How about brown with a little highlights. Something like that:
  7. Anat, when I listened him singing HTB acoustic... I was sure you're loving it !! lol you know me, I love this song acoustic or not. I really hope I'll get it in DC
  8. I think that is the case more often that not. Unless you have established yourselves as legends (or are definite legends in the making) from the ground up like: The E Street Band, U2, Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Radiohead... there seems to be a lot of movement. I was checking out Gavin Degraw info the other day and I think his band changed with every album! Yes. Look at the Foo Fighters. Besdies Dave who put the band together there is only one original member who is still with the band and never left (albeit for just a few hours, but he changed his mind, as told in the film Back and Forth) and that would be Nate Mendel, the bass player. Pat Smear left the band for a number of years then came back. I'm so sad that Kyle left the band I'm going to miss him While it's true that musicians leave bands all the time, some musicians can come and go and you hardly notice them while others, like Kyle and definitely Neal, are such a huge part of what makes the band what it is that when they leave no matter how good the replacement is, it's never going to be the same. Love, love, love the acoustic version of Mr. S and HTB just gorgeous.
  9. Wow losing 100 lbs is amazing!! They both look great, Barb. Stacy, do you have a photo with blond hair? It's hard to know without something to compare with. Personally I like long hair more so if you're going to cut it, I wouldn't cut it too short.
  10. It sure is hard to believe it's been nearly 4 years since the Idol tour, time sure flies. Yeah, I think Bridgeport was the last time we met Barb, it was my last Idol concert and for the Declaration tour I was on the west coast. It's was really just a matter of perfect timing. Keren is graduating in May so when I realized it's really close to the race I decided to extend my visit by a couple of days so I can be there. Jeannie, I'm so glad we're finally going to meet. I'm really looking forward to meet everyone.
  11. Can't believe that I'm going to say it but... I'm going to be there this year We've Already booked the hotel and flight and registered for the race, all is left is the concert tickets. I'm soooo excited, can't wait to meet everyone and can't wait to see David live again, it's been way too long since my last concert.
  12. Really Barb? really? I knew it'll be eliminated as soon as they take these 5 points off but I didn't expected it to be you. JK someone was going to do it so it doesn't really metter who. Congrats to GTTG
  13. yeah this probably the only way this game will ever end And... I'm sorry to be a pain about it (and it probably won't make much diffrent anyway) but there is still a vote missing... it should be: Goodbye to the Girl 26 Circadian 09
