  1. I'll wait and see what dates decided on before I can commit as I've got the mcn skegness weekend in April.
  2. Jezza--- I think that's one of the nicest I've seen---- Is it too rude to enquire the cost of it It was as a couple of hundred , got a few more done on a nine hour sitting.......booked in again for another 4 hours after Christmas. A grand tribute.. .. What does the wording say? I'm Back on the 27th December for it to be completed hopefully . The wording is the poem "in Flanders field" Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.
  3. I think that's N.I chad , a lot of coaches etc . have these on to hide their age , southern Irish I believe you have to change , there may also be tax payable to hmrc dependant on age of vehicle.

  5. Im booked in for the the rest of the arm on Nov 7th , gonna be a 9 hr sitting :-\
  6. Already got the rest of the arm planned , hopefully back in November once its healed.
  7. We are attending the local memorial on Monday evening for the lights out event, I think it's great the way the public is getting behind these events being organised and remembering what these people went through.
  8. [quote="jezza"]I'll phone ya over the weekend[/quote Tried phoning went to answer phone.
  9. I used a product from venture shield, easy to put on and has lasted so far. http://chipguard.co.uk/motorbike-fullkit.html
  10. must admit I've changed the bars to helibars, seat to a zero gravity , footpegs to vario pegs and have now also changed the front brakes to radials , if i need to be somewhere I will do journeys in one go if I can an only stopping for petrol, comfort is a must if you want to munch miles.......anyhow my busa is a thing of beauty, nowt wrong with a nice rounded arse as I'm always telling the other half.
  11. Best thing you can do Dave is go to a bike superstore with Mel and sit on a few bikes, trouble is with suggestions is that we are all built different and what's comfortable for one person will not be comfortable for another.......I doubt there's a bike out there to suit me as pillion, I sat on the back of Robbie's and had to shoehorn it back out of my arse (he still sniffs the seat now). Draw up a shortlist go out test riding and then go on from there. Or ask at bike meets, see if someone will let Mel sit on the back and possibly take her for a quick spin then ask her verdict if she likes it then try and test ride one for longer. I think someone got scared.
  12. Sod that , I hear they are high maintenance.
  13. Vespa pk50, used to travel to scooter rallies all over the country. At 16 it was brilliant travelling to some seaside resort for a weekend of alcohol , camping , music and scooters ,sometimes having to borrow fuel money to get home especially only being on a £30 a week yts . Great times , no cares in the world.
