  1. ALways a difficult one to answer, a standard service then anyone does same as MOT but when you want something fixing and checking out properly then Im afriad it really needs to be someone with the right equipment to check/diagnose. Im sure more than just the dealers have the facility to plug into the management system but it can be an expensive "toy" for some. BUt for just a plain service and MOT why pay dealer prices so long as your friend does a proper check on everything like pads etc. These systems are all good and well to identify something is not working but when everything is working then it tells you sweetFA,
  2. Our bikes (completed ones atleast) I have a GPZ750(1986) chop and the ZX9r (c1 1999) thats supposed to be for sale and my son has a Virago 125 and we are in the process of creating a Bandit 600 chop for when he passes his test. He has now bought himself a set of bandit wheels (although the front isnt obviously 19" so open to change and an engine and bits which is now a runner. Frame needs to be altered as its not wide enough at the back and engine mountings way out, once he gets a rear fender and mounting kit we will be ready to get the frame done. Oh and no those will not be the handlebars we use, there just spares of a virago and just on so it can be moved about.
  3. Trev on the Banditforum kindly gave us all the link here, guess some of us are a little behind but all the best to Dave and the forum.
