29 and a bit after getting a patch that got me past the end of game update only to find myself with a squad of infants and embryos -
the sports interactive guys gave advice on this. If all three league scouts have them as highly recommended then its worth a punt. Otherwise more risky. No advice on euro or international scouts im afraid

There is a patch out there (and has been for 17+ years) but it takes players ages down to 20 or thirty years so gave up with it. There might be a newer cleverer one. I actually had this happen after 7 years once. Went through the update three or 4 times and it eventually worked but showed the last season 3 times in the history
