  1. I haven't been on here in ages, but I had to peek in to celebrate with y'all! Hooray for new music!!!
  2. Wow! As it happens, I'll be visiting family in the area that week. Might have to make some arrangements!
  3. Just the thought of Black Friday makes me all sweaty and nervous. I like a good deal as much as the next gal, but those crowds scare the stuffin' out of me. I don't even like the mall on a normal weekend! Nope, I'll wait for Cyber Monday and do it all online!
  4. I love it when he does morning interviews. That sexy, just-rolled-outta-bed voice....
  5. I'll drink Coke over Pepsi, but my fave is Diet Dr Pepper.
  6. Do you golf? Not a bit. And unfortunately, I married into a family of golfers! My in-laws take golf vacations, which I completely don't understand.
  7. Hmm. I'd have to say: Breathe Tonight GTTG Creep
  8. I was hoping this would be the next single ever since it was used on SYTYCD! So looking forward to a gooey romantic video!
  9. This would be my show...if it weren't on a Tuesday. Alas, I cannot make the drive on a work night. Fingers crossed for a Portland stop on the next leg!
  10. Catching up on a few questions.... We know David hates mustard... so what condiments do you like and hate? I'm a bit of a condiment junkie. Fries, pizza, sandwiches, you name it, I loooooove to dip it. Ranch is probably my favorite, especially a good restaurant ranch like at Red Robin. I also love fresh salsa. What are some songs that move you emotionally and why? David's of course, but other artists too. I could literally spend all day discussing my emotional reactions to David's songs, so I'll focus on others here: Amazing Grace -- Moves me to tears every time we sing it in church. The words are so simple, but convey such a powerful message of God's love. Reprise of "I'll Cover You" from Rent -- I unfortunately have never seen the stage show, but this scene in the movie had me weeping. To Have Heroes, "Forever" -- My happy song. I can't help but smile when I hear such sweet words. Who was your first ever celebrity crush? Pretty sure it was one of the boys from NKOTB. Jordan, I think. What is the one thing you can not leave the house without? If I'm on my own-- my cell phone. If I've got my daughter with me-- diapers.
  11. My commute is wonderful, only about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. I do remember one winter, though, we had a sudden snowstorm (nobody in Portland is prepared for snow or knows how to drive in it) and it took me almost 2 hours to get home. That pretty much sucked.
  12. I was too much of a goody-goody to play hooky in high school. But I skipped a lot of college classes, does that count? Oh, and to answer a previous question, the TV show I'd like to be trapped in would be the Biggest Loser. I need someone to kick my ass into shape!
  13. I like small towns, but close to the big city. Having grown up in the sticks, where we had to drive at least an hour to get to a movie theatre or mall, I appreciate being closer to civilization.
  14. Hmm... I got a confirmation for the one I ordered for my mom, but not for mine! They must be in random order, because I bought mine before hers.
  15. I can't tell you how many times I've started a post in this thread, trying to come up with words to describe my reaction to TLM. Everything I come up with just doesn't do justice to the things David does to me with this album. Incredible, wonderful, visceral, heartbreaking, mindblowing-- all great words, but they just don't say enough. I'm in love.
