When I had a Caravan nearly 30 years ago (i had no class then Laughing )

We used to leave bowls of salt in it and give them a stir now and then to get rid of the crust, It seemed to work little condensation no mould etc.

But I'm sure the Caravan experts Sado's Sad ) will be on to confirm

only kidding campers party

One of our race team members put a dehumidifier in their caravan over winter. It was absolutely bone dry for the first round of the year. SO WAS THE BATTERY. Of course, we didn't take the pi**, well maybe just a little.
In my camper.I just keep a little heat in it. A electric heater on frost guard and occasionally give the derv night heater a blast.

Hi Stantheman, I used to have a Ebac dehumidifier in the garage but they have a frost protection built in, so mine just refused to work in cold temperatures which was mainly when I needed it to work. Not sure but I think its under a mountain of crap in the loft now! Rolling Eyes

I run an Ebac dehumidifier in the garage all winter. It takes out about 5 litres of water a day when it's cold and damp...less when the temps go well below freezing.
Tools and bike stay relatively rust and corrosion free thumbs

PS Hate to think what it costs to run as it's on continually Shocked
