firehawk 0 Posted December 29, 2010 i would go steady on paintwork and electricals at first. try on inconspicious/unimportant areas to see how it affects it.
dick65 0 Posted December 29, 2010 yeah id like some updates on that i only use hand hot water on the bike and its best to rinse salt off with cold water to neutralise it then wash as normal im sure someone will let you know the pros and cons more than me. always1more 0 Posted December 29, 2010 I'd be careful m8 on the plastics you might just melt them I used industrial steam cleaners 15 year ago now, the farm I worked at had very bad disentry, normal cold water washers cleaned ok but the bug needed killing.Go easy with it m8 and don't hold the nozzle too close to the plastics. rocker1 0 Posted December 29, 2010 Be careful most vehicle polishes/waxes will be melted off, The recomenation is "hand hot" and some synthetic rubbers and most plastics will over time become more brittle.
