Whats happernd here is the engine as expired big time and is now scrap value what you see is the con rod that holds the piston smashed though the crank case,
but hang on I might be able to do sumat!!!!!!

It's a J2 engine, 500cc rigid twinport. Similar twin downtube rigid frame to a Model G.Enfield I recon




But your right it dose look like an S7 well done BB

Ahh I see!
Just thought I recognised it with the twin cylinders one behind the other, and I know a couple of people with Sunbeams who got the same problems with holes in the crankcase too

The crankcase on the s7 have more fins not so smooth looking.not bad for a chick though!!! kidding
