A neighbour is into classic cars, he has a Rover Cylops and has just bought this 1952 MG YB
BUT, does anyone know what this is arrowed? If only cars had it today!

it looks like its something to do with the brakes...

it looks like the ignition lead is going to it but I've never heard of a hydraulic coil so guessing not a coil

Well Done Firehawk party yep! its a hydraulic jack, lifts the car for maintenance or wheel changing, how clever is that. Thought I might have kept this thread going for a bit longer than that, well done mate thumbsthumbs

A very clever idea actually. I agree, they should be fitted to todays cars. Even women could change a wheel then without too much fuss hide .

No need to take the wheel off. Just rotate it, because it,s only flat at the bottom. fofl
