smilinjack 0 Posted May 23, 2011 As mentioned elsewhere, I've been on the lookout for a netbook to take to Spain or wherever, but the lack of spec always put me off. In PC World on Sunday while waiting for the dragon, and saw a HP 11.6" laptop. http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pavilion-dm1-3101ea-11-6-laptop-silver-09797963-pdt.html Only 3mm bigger all round than a netbook, but 3Gb RAM and a decent CPU, 320Gb HDD, HDMI output. £349.99 but as a business purchase it actually will cost me £291 with the VAT off. First start up is a drag as ever with these things, and I'm going to give it a week or so before I remove all the bloatware, but v. nice overall.
