XS1100 0 Posted June 15, 2011 Went work done a days work driving home and I lose the power steering battery light comes on so I carry on knowing that the water pump is driven from the timing belt so its not going to over heat and that the alternator belt as gone AWOL. firehawk 0 Posted June 15, 2011 done an alternator on a 156 b4. I think it was supposed to be an engine out job but I managed to do it by completely dismantling the O/S suspension and brakes. All good fun. The stupid thing is, I could get all the bolts out and get it loose but just needed everything off to physically get it out of the hole Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

XS1100 0 Posted June 15, 2011 125,000 good body work been a good van really but when it dose screw up its a pain in the ass.but its a van I will sort it no worrys I got up at some silly time this morning wile the sun was out and I was back on the road by 9.30am Just in time for an ASDA breakfast ! sod of a job though.
