Chadatious 0 Posted August 1, 2011 got the virago running! sounds like a beaut.only worry at the min is, front cyclinder gets warm, but back gets extremly hot! when the crbs are on the same setting at the min, but rear slash cut is shorter does it need tuning differently to match this. just its like 10x hotter? thanx Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

fr499y 0 Posted August 2, 2011 each pot will be different.. if your running 2 length pipes then deffo need to sort the jetting out, the back will likely be running leaner which is why its a lot hotter than the front.Modded air filter/stock pipes:- Open main jet with a #55 drill bit, pos 1 flat washer under needle.Open exhausts/stock air filter:- shim needle 1 to 2 flat washers, leave main jet alone.open exhaust/modded air filter:- Open main jet with #55 drill bit, add 2 to 3 washers under needle.not 100% if thats 750 or 1000cc virago though. Chadatious 0 Posted August 2, 2011 got that in clymer, dont really go with the 535. i lowerd the pins one, as it was flooding. now it runs nice just ones hot, so i think its just tweaking mixture screws. guna have a fiddle today Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
