firehawk 0 Posted November 4, 2011 t**t nav chargers are 5 volt Dave. I found this out to my cost when I tried to hardwire a nav cable to my SV. I plugged it in after fitting and it blew the charge port on the satnav. I then had to modify an old charger and wire it in via that (and use another satnav).
