right trying to come up with the best way of setting my sat nav up on the b-king, on my bandit I have a 12 volt socket under my seat (plenty of room) I have a tank bag on my tank with my sat nav in , then just plug in under the seat as so :

and that works a treat and has got me all over the country party

Now on my be king there is no room under the seat for a big socket like that , so I am thinking of putting one of these :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220577022938?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

it will do for my optimate too thumbs

Now i can put one of these :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180636382795?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

or one of these :
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290625420561?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

up near the head stock conected to this plugged in under the seat :

and because the tank is all plastic around it , so no where for a magnetic tank bag Sad was going to use this :

now instead of running a socket to the head stock , was thinking of just running a USB cable over my tank and under my seat (only when using the sat nav) so does anyone know if there is a socket that goes from this:

to this :

will look like this :

Hope it all makes sence , and although i know i can run a socket up to the head stock ,dont know if i like that idea as much as just plugging in under my seat when using my sat nav,

which one chad , Dave cannot simply connect a usb port to a 12 volt connection , he needs to be able to lower the voltage to 5 volts otherwise he will fry anything connected to it .
the usb plug I have shown reduces the voltage when plugged into a 12 volt socket.

and attach it to the battery or via the optimate plug in my post above.as long as your sat nav uses a micro usb into the back of it , (my garmin does)

heres one for the tom tom

spent hours looking at different ones , I think this is the best one up to now ,

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/iSimple-12-Volt-Battery-5-Volt-USB-Charger-IS43-/290625420561?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43aa9ffd11

I think there will be enough room under the seat for this , and i can just run a usb cable from my sat nav to undermy seat and plug it in to this, plus with it having a female usb port , I can use it for anything else i want thumbs
