tomtom one first addition

I have had my tom tom for a few years now , i use it on my bike too, It has always got me to where I want to go no probs
just thinking about updating the maps (only Briton) whats the best way is it through tom tom or is there other ways

Always done mine through tomtom, I did look into other avenues but found it a bit of a mare.
