Concerning I_hangVilious

/t844-less-strict-rules-what-is-this Created this, I banned as soon as I read. I think we are all in agreement that we simply cannot tolerate this. If he was not punished for this, it would make our staff look weak or like we didn't care. Definitely more than 1 rule violation here, including flat out insulting dr_treeman

I don't necessarily agree with that, sure the guy sounded like a disrespectful asshole but I don't see what he did incorrectly that could result in a ban besides insulting treeman.

He's an asshat who thinks he's high and mighty because he's older than some and that being on server for 2 months, most of it absent, has granted him some status.

Im not sure were kitty and kshb digging him down to ground like he said, but any way, he was being pretty disrespectful. I asked volt to look after him which, i guess, aggrevated him more.

I may have overreacted a bit, but I still think he should be banned untill Wednesday or so, so he gets the point.

He has also sent me a PM, and I sent one back explaining ALL of our rules and WHY we enforce them and WHY he was banned.

I will unban him and talk with him about putting him back as Pupil Wednesday 5-9-12

He was kind of breaking the "no being an asshole" rule. Swearing to children sets me off though.

We're a server where you can be yourself, where you can moderately swear, we're NOT a daycare, never been.

As far as I can remember, swearing was generally frowned upon. A swearword here or there once in a while, but not constantly doing it. I don't swear, so I find it more pleasing when people don't swear, but some people are used to doing it. I agree, we aren't a daycare, but we have always tried to keep it family friendly.
