Un-brown hashbrowns? Come to my house and try some..my real house. The first batch I made..I put too much oil..second batch, too little oil, making it not brown. To make it worse, it was from frozen, so all I had to do was heat it up.

I don`t know if I want to eat those white hashbrowns.

I think I`ll stick to an oven next time.

Sorry to say it, but they sound a bit yucky Mangoberri. I like my hashbrowns, crisp and golden brown, just like my chips (fries)

well, last night I put fries in the oven and they only had instructions for stove top. I ended up making white fries and covered them with gravy.

I tend to throw everthing in the oven, or use my George Forman grill (couldnt live without it!) dont like frying food...too smelly for me lol xx

Agreed, it's also unhealthy. I have pretty much given up on a lot of fried foods. Unless ground beef has the fat drained out of it, I will not touch it.

I put a HUGE dollop of ketchup so I wouldn`t taste the gross-ness of it
