kasijab 0 Posted March 18, 2010 I've got daffodils out in my garden at long last ....but I still don't trust it not to have another cold snap before the end of the month, so think I will wait till after Easter before putting out any bedding plants. what about you? do you have a garden? I'm not an avid gardener but i do like to have a bit of colour to look at ...hubby does all the rest, he is always to be found 'pottering' in his garden when home in nice weather. tweets 0 Posted March 18, 2010 it is sunny outside, but it's cold.. i see people in warm coats and jackets outside...i don't have a garden, but my grandparents do my grandma has a big garden, that she tends carefully... in spring, there are the most beautiful tulips and roses (af you add the dog that ''eats'' flowers, and the bunny, the one in my avatar, can you imagine the picture of the garden? )unfortunately, grandma broke her hip, so she won't be able to do the gardening any more good thing is grandpa is good with plants (he has a vineyard) so he can keep it alive... Zoonie 0 Posted March 18, 2010 We have front and back gardens, but they're a bit wild, very natural and inhabited by rabbits, ducks, pheasants, birds, squirrels and foxes. We have four raised beds and a couple of borders, and to be honest, after the awful winter and snow damage, they all need clearing and a massive replanting plan. But yes - this morning was lovely and very Spring-like...mind the hour has to change soon.
