I have a question. It is a serious question. A friend of mine has always struggled with homosexuality. And she is a christian but has decided to go full into the Lord and committ her life to him and turn her back on that lifestyle. She wasn't totally apart of that lifestyle socially but still struggled with it. And some time ago, I would say about two years ago, she came in contact with another woman through another friend of hers. And this person didnt even live in the same state but she felt this connection with this woman. At first, she was thinking it was something of the Lord because they seem to hit it off really well and she liked this person. But afterwards it seemed to be somewhat of a sexual attraction. As she was with other people, she had to hide what she was feeling. But again, since this other woman only came into town like once or twice a year, and it wasnt like she was seeing her, only if she got invited to this other person's home would she see this same woman. My friend kind of put it out of her mind. Then again, my friend was invited to an outing where this same woman was there. And my friend cant even look this woman in the eye. She feels this strong bondage or something connected with this woman. And its bothering her. She wants to be free of this whatever it is. And I dont know how to help except to pray except it doesnt seem to work. The problem is, not that something will happen between them ( there is absolutely no way it ever will), but my friend wants to be set free from whatever is causing this problem. My friend says it feels as if she is invaded whenever she is around this person, like her defenses have been stripped, like something inside is going on. Does anyone have any idea what is going on?
