i have already had this kind of dreams several times in the last two three months. i was suppose to go to a very important banquet in my dream. people were all trying to dress up and wear make up and i as well was trying to look for a very nice dress for the banquet in my dream. but i was already late for it. i tried very hard to hurry up and go to the banquet, but somehow there were lots of distractions and made me couldn't go to the banquet. i thought i was ready to go eventually but then found out that i didn't wear the right shoes to go. so i needed to go back to change my shoes. i woke up feeling so disappointed that i couldn't go to the banquet.
i had several other dreams are all like that. i felt the same way that there were lots of things trying to stop me from going to something that is very important to me.
i had another dream two nights ago. seeing myself trying to get ready for something very important. i finally finished everything and got on a big truck ready to go with my husband. then i had a second dream right after this truck dream. i was running very fast (the fastest i got in my entire life) to catch a bus. i got on the bus and trying very hard to find all the changes that i got to pay for it.
do you think these dreams are all related? i feel like God is leading me to do something or some new direction for my spiritual life. but i don't know how to response and what to do about it. please help me! thanks!

my husband bought a new house and sold our old house in my dream. the new house looked very small when we first walked inside the entrance. but once my husband took me turned into the living room and showed me other rooms, the house was a lot bigger than our new house. it was very spacious and it came with all the very nice furniture. we could just move right in without getting anything.
i had another dream several days ago seeing my sister and her husband moved to a new house. their new place looked small from the entrance as well. but once they took me turned into the living room and other rooms, their new place was a lot bigger than their old place. it was very spacious and they placed lots of new furniture there already. thanks!

my mother-in-law got a new pair of high hills for herself in the dream. but they were too small for her. so she asked my husband to bring them to me. they fit me well. i had this dream two days ago and yesterday night. thanks!

i had my mom's dream posted here several months ago. she was at a local supermarket trying to get some veggie in her dream. but there wasn't much fresh veggie left. so she didn't but any. someone interpreted the dream for my mom and said that the supermarket represent her church. her church suppose to provide her with spiritual feeding. However, my mom wasn't getting fed there.
after several months of seeking after the Lord. My mom is very thankful for that interpretation. she left that church and found a church that she can get fed. now she is learning so much at the new church and finally understand more all other dreams that she had earlier and God's guidance for her in the future. thanks!

my mom saw an old range house with some dieing flowers in front of the house. there was only one flower that her younger brother planted still growing. a friend of hers came to see her. (her friend committed adultery with several men in real life. she is not a believer.) my mom saw her naked in her dream. she was only wearing underwear and not felt shamed. her friend walked inside my mom's old house and sat on a chair. there were some ripen apples and oranges outside the house. my mom asked her friend whether she felt cold and invited her to join her in her bed. (they both sat in my mom's bed) then my mom turned her head and saw a peaceful sea outside the window with a battle ship there. thanks!

my mom had a dream two days ago.
my mom, my sister and i were still in our homeland China in her dream. she was riding on a bicycle on a road trip to see her friends. my sister was following her with me riding at the back of my sister's bicycles. we went to so many places with my mom. then we came to a hill. my mom didn't see how we made it up to the top of that hill, but she saw some paths that people have taken before to go down the hill. so we just followed those paths to go down the hill. it started to snow when we came down the hill and saw a village. a big hail came down almost hit my mom's head. but my mom turned away. then we decided to go home and took the main road. somehow our bicycle became one with my mom riding at the front and two of us (my sister and i) at the back. thanks!

someone called her and told her there was a serious flood and suggested that she should go to the roof top. she asked whether that person who called her had seen her husband and mom. that person said no. the building only has 11 floors. my sister went to the roof and saw lots of people there. but when she walked up to the top only a few people left and she saw her husband and mom. then when she walked over to her husband and mom's side only three of them were left. the flood was getting higher and higher. but somehow it never went up to their floor. there were lots of tall buildings around their building. then she saw some buildings coming out of the flood and standing right next to their building. the interesting thing is that their building should be the shortest one, but somehow my sister could see the top of all other tall buildings. she almost felt her building was the tallest one amongall the buildings. thanks!

thank you so much Jeanie, this really matches how i feel lately from my devotion time. i also have several other dreams match with what you just said. one of them is about our family waiting to fly somewhere (going on a flight). the other one is about me riding on a train going from slow to very fast. i know God's spirit is about to do something new to us and to the church.

thank you so much for your response. it does help me to understand a lot better of what God is going to do with us. a new covenant is definitely what i feel God is going to do with us. do you think it will possibly be a new ministry then? my husband is a pastor and i am a pastor wife.

i had a dream two nights ago about my husband and i were about to go to the church for our second wedding. we had our wedding five years ago (in real life). i don't know why we were going to have our wedding again in my dream. but this time the preparation was really bad in my dream. because i thought i still have everything from before i don't need to get any new shoes or dress or flowers and other stuffs. i was planning to get everything out from the storage room before the wedding. but when i open the storage room i saw all the wedding stuffs were so used and so old. the wedding dress was smaller, the color was faded. my husband asked me to just put it on anyways, because we only had an hour left before the wedding. then i tried to find a pair of shoes to match with the dress. but none of the shoes could match the dress after i spend 20 or 30 mt. searching through the storage room. my husband then asked me to put on a pair that still fit. we rushed to the church after that. thanks!

but when you say you see those eagles, do you mean that you actually see them in a vision or something? that's awesome!

no he is not. i am the one who will usually initiate prayer at home. he is more a very personal type when it comes to prayer. he only enjoys his own prayer time with God. he doesn't like to pray with others.

thank you Halo, your interpretation helps me to see more in this dream. well, actually i had another dream right after this one. i was in a long ling waiting for something in that second dream. but then someone told me i had a some special right to jut go to the door and need not to wait on the line. so i did i just went to the door and got what i needed. do you think these two dreams are related? will they help to interpret each other better? thanks!

my husband had this dream twice. he was taking our family to somewhere for vacation in his dream. we were at the airport and waiting for our next connected flight, but some how we couldn't make it to our connected flight so my husband was so worried and trying whatever he could to get another flight to fly us to the place that we wanted to go. thanks!

i had a dream two nights ago. i was standing right next to a pretty big
size river. the water of the river was running really fast with lots of
dirt and sand in it. i was pretty scared by that river. there were two
eagles flying above that river. i some how dropped something inside the
river and couldn't see where it went. one of the eagles went down to
the river and picked it up for me. i could strongly sense that those
two eagles' eyes were very sharp in my dream. thanks!

thank you so much Jeanie, you really help to interpret this dream. your explanation makes sense everything that she is going through at her life. she feels the same way about her spiritual dryness. the church that she is going to is not very helpful for her spiritual grow. she is actually thinking to leave that ministry.

my mom had a dream two nights ago. she wanted to buy some vegetables from the market in her dream. but when she got there she saw that all the good and fresh vegetables were gone. only the bad ones were left. she couldn't find anything good so she only got a cabbage and went home. thanks!

i have read these verses before. but i think the question that i really should ask is what is the "job description" of the angels? is there a limitation for them? i am sure you all have heard of William Brenham who claimed he an angel always with him to help him perform miracles. also Todd Bentley claimed he had an angel called Emma helped him all the times. but many people have pointed out the problem of that. thank you so much for helping me to understand better. i have been struggling with that for a long time.
also have you guys heard of Wayne Grudem (a pretty famous systematic theologian). he doesn't think there is necessary a one on one guardian angel in his book Bible Doctrine. have anyone read this book before?
