  1. Not long ago, I was having lunch with a brother in the Lord and as we were going back to the office I spotted a truck along side of the road that was selling roses. The sign said 3 dozen roses for $7 dollars. I quickly pulled over next to the truck and purchased 3 dozen roses of varying colors and told my friend that I was going to pass them out to the 6 ladies in my office as a way of thanking them for their hard work. As I walked into the office the ladies were delighted when I told them that the roses were for them. I asked that they please split them up equally among themselves. Just as I was saying that, I felt led to look away and down the hall to see another woman sitting down at a desk that I did not know. I told the ladies to please give one rose to that woman sitting down at the end of the hall. Later in the day I came back into the office where I had given the ladies the roses to find them all spread out and in nice vases. I asked, "Did anyone give the lady down at the end of the hall a rose?" To my surprise they answered no. I reached down and took one of the red roses from the nearest vase and walked down to the end of the hall and approached the woman. I said “I know we don’t know each other but here is a red rose, this is just for you" To my surprise she began to cry and I became most uncomfortable. She continued to cry to the point that I turned and walked back to my office deeply concerned. 30 minutes or so later I looked up to see that same woman now standing in my office doorway. She said, “You don’t know me and I don’t know you but I have something I have to tell you. I am a very sick woman. I am also a Christian worship leader who has been praying for several years for the Lord to heal me. I continue to get sicker and sicker and my faith has been tested and tried. I had almost given up hope that the Lord would heal me until a few moments ago. You see, I had prayed one last time today that if the Lord was going to heal me that He give me a sign and that sign was for someone to walk up to me today and give me a red rose." I was astonished and tears filled my eyes! The woman turned and walked away and I began to wonder what had just happened. Soon it became time to go home for the weekend and I carried the thoughts of what had happened that day with me. When I got home I began to pray for the Lord to heal her. I prayed several times that evening, the next day and Sunday morning. As Sunday evening came along, and as I was about to pray, I began to feel that I did not need to pray for her anymore. A strange calm came upon me and I did not pray for her. Monday morning I rushed to work to see what the Lord had done. To my joy and surprise there she was…..smiling and she even looked different! She pulled me aside and said, God healed me this weekend! I am healed!" Oh how we rejoiced.! Friends, never doubt for one moment that God hears your prayers. His ways are not our ways but He is faithful to His people. This woman was a worship leader in her church and her faith was tested and tried even to the breaking point. Day after day she cried unto the Lord for her healing. She believed in Him with all her heart and He did not let her down. Her healing came in God’s chosen time and it brought the Lord glory and honor and it has given us a testimony to share with many people of God’s faithfulness and goodness. I had no idea that day that God was about to use me to change a woman’s life. The Lord caused me to will and to do, and He demonstrated that once again He alone is God and that we all need Him. He weaved my day into His glorious plan to heal a woman of God and I didn’t even know until it was almost done. God moved in a most unusual way to heal this woman and to build our faith. Believe that God knows it all and He has a plan to touch your life and to use you to bless others. Keep your heart and mind focused on Him and never give up. God is no respecter of persons. If he would use me with a rose He can use you in other marvelous ways. One last thought....I purchased 3 dozen roses that day and there were 3 different colors. I chose red because God wanted to let that woman know that He was going to heal her. Her request was that one red rose be given her that day and that is what God moved me to give her. I never knew He was moving me to speak to her that day. It all seemed so natural and without any sign that God was about to perform His miracle. I hope this blesses you today and if you are praying for a miracle, don’t give up on Him. Keep on praying until the miracle appears. Jon
