  1. thank you so much. it means a lot to know you stand with us in prayer
  2. The last year and a half has presented my husband and I with some of the darkest days of our life together. It all started with an accident at work where my husband received a concussion, dislocated his jaw, compressed his vertebrae and wrenched his shoulder. From the very beginning the workers compensation insurer has been deceitful dishonest and outright slanderous. They did everything possible to get out of paying this claim, like sending my husband to multiple doctors and refusing to approve the MD's recommendations for treatment until they found one that would be favorable to them. Long story short, my husband's employer ended up firing him after all of this. This is a man who has has a stellar record as an RN for over thirty years and never did anything to anyone except for help them. We took the insurance company to court over the workers compensation claim and that Judge ruled that the ins co had to pay for all of my husbands treatment. It took over a year to get to that point. So- he is just now getting the treatment he's needed and has been unable to work during all this time. Now we are in the process of dealing with all of the legal issues from the bad faith of the insurance company and the employer failing to accommodate the disabilities caused by the work injury but firing him instead. Its been a very long journey and we're tired. I would be amiss if I didn't share how God has taken care of every single need that we have had during this time. God made a way for us to avoid financial and relationship ruin. We have a much closer relationship, resolve and faith than we did when all this started. Now...We need strength,he needs a job working as an RN that will allow him to continue his treatment and we need justice for this deplorable behavior. We also need to get through all of the legal wrangling and be done with this so we can move on. We so need and appreciate your prayers. This situation stole our joy but we've got it back because we know God will give us the victory!
