Alright. There's a party in my pants, and you're all invited. A new city project has arisen, Imphoebe is Mayor of this world. This is the topic where you post whether you want to join in on this creation. It is currently zoned to Expert/Admin, whilst the world itself is novice. That's right. No rank restrictions here, it's purely up to whitelist. This is for two reasons, A. so we can keep track of who goes in and works there, B. it's more suited for the style of the idea i reckon. Or at least, it's trying something out of the normal.. Less Moufs? People that can ban players when needed? The only proof we have that people have been committed to the server is by the hours, and commitment shown; none of us have been sure about the players so it's the second most reliable info that we can count on! the only part that lies left, is the trust and respect the community has towards that player, which is our current issue! Probably should break it down in four steps, Ask ourselves how many adepts we have, How many experts we have, How many hours our adepts have, and whether we trust them / have any issues with them. And in the first place, how many experts are we planning to promote? We've got z, me, kev, zelda and sharok in, it would seem. so 5 experts, how many are we going for?

Helllll no. Nobody wants to download a 5-10MB map every time they join a world. I started generating a flatgrass map at 1024x1024x256 before typing this and it's still not done. Okay, it's done now, but it took 45 seconds to generate. A FLATGRASS MAP. We don't have the fastest VPS and I'm sure some of our players don't have the fastest computers. Let's keep the max dimensions of a map around 512x512x512. Default world (MainRealm) is 512x512x128 i think btw.

I know what you meant, I was just putting out the idea based on your idea that if you clear enough worlds where you have a free world you can apply the same idea except for the creation of new projects. A world dedicated to teamwork based creating based on a picked theme. As stated in my post, for example. You pick the theme city. Everybody works on buildings, roads, etc and all create this gigantic city across the world in a teamwork based project. All connecting there work together. When that's done, screenshot there work, post it on the forums and refresh the map with a new theme. In regards to what you said, I said it was a good idea so long as it's not crossing the lines (as in somebody's work gets removed or unauthorized moving of peoples work without there permission). just checking.

Just to clarify, the idea is to put previous works together into a theme and to construct a major work piece out of our work that is just lying around, that's more the point of it :S

Alright. Here's an idea i just had. So i want to propose to people, that as an alternative to having all the worlds we currently have, we take the current structures in selected worlds, with the consent of the makers of course; to put their work into a world together with many others, and to work on it as a whole and to connect and try and make a theme out of what we have. It's an odd idea. yeah. but at least we could put the random structures to some different uses, instead of have them floatin around on different maps, with just a plain structure. Me and some others could do some land and liquidscaping around it to connect it all up. I'll be more than happy to do this. Of course, i'm busy with other things, but i think i'll be fine to do this time wise. How does that sound to you guys? Otherwise, another solution may be to just 'Dump Map' cache the maps we currently aren't using and to rehash them if we ever do. So, to not delete them, but to just clean map space on the server. ^not sure if this was an idea previously, so just asking. Thoughts? EDIT: Nektulos is looking like a pretty awesome map to do this on.

This is an odd issue. Of course, kevin will have influence on the situation, and he may influence zelda. but, i don't see why this is such a bad thing. Even if kevin gets admin, he's not a bad admin. It's unnecessary for kevin to be admin since he hasn't been in much until now, and it seems some people have issues with him. As for them both being admin, i agree. one or the other. Kevin, if he's in more. Zelda, if kevin isn't. I have no issues with kevin helping or influencing zelda, again. he's a good influence as far as i'm aware. Again. It's an odd one. Alright. So after much discussion, there has been no evidence or proof to show that kevin has been 'threatening' Eric to promote zelda, so it is false. He couldn't find the records stating anything along the lines. Whether or not they did happen, they are to be dismissed for this. So i don't want to hear another word of it.

Demonic. How would you feel, to be Admin. I'm just wondering, as i said before, i'd consider you a good candidate for it too out of the lot, but i frankly have no idea how much you've been in AITM lately. Thoughts? Also, we express the 'active' point excessively because she would know the people who are currently in AITM better than all of us right now, and that's one thing we've been lacking. we've been indecisive about who to put up and that comes down to being active ourselves, and to know these people.

Look, i know you're a veteran and have been here longer than most, if not all of us. But from how things are looking here, none of us among the mods are in as much as she is. She may be 13 but i haven't had a reason not to trust her up until now. and i know admin is supposed to be that 'unreachable' rank, but 2 of our admins seem to be out of AITM now. (Sharoks case i'm not sure about.) So it was just me, and i'm not around enough to be satisfactory as an 'active' moderator. Ignored You're arguement is purely on her age, She isn't a solo admin as i check up on the server occasionally, and i don't EVER see you guys moderating, so you and frogger, can all fuck off until i see you guys back in the server as much as she is, or until she does something that would make me think twice about this.
