^ I don't recommend you try that Kijo, don't listen congratulations

I need to send a note through to Bee, or text her, I can text her.

The woman was wrong, but listening to the full story, her Visa had run out and the authorities wouldn't renew it. The child was the product of a failed relationship and unwanted by the father who rarely saw her and never paid anything in child support - I think she was broke, desperate and desperate.
She's also served 4½months in prison here and been on bail ever since (which is years and years) - that's the equivalent to a one year prison term with early release for good behaviour apparently - plus, she lost her child for all that time, as she was returned to the father (not read anything about how he took to the responsibility, but she said they all get along ok these days)

Just filling in what I heard.

I think I'm still recovering from Monday and the lack of sleep (as per my FB status - got home at 2.45am to get up at 6.30am). Actually I didn't even get home instead I crashed at Mr B's (who was out with me) but it was soooo worth it. We went to Ramsay's in Chelsea and the food was to die for!!

How are you?

*drool* hope you enjoy it.
I have finally learned how to insert stuff to that website - so far it has part of my cheesecake recipe but I will be adding more stuff - will have to translate the czech recipes though

I'm fine thanks, it's strange how those really late nights catch up with you - but worth it. What kind of things did you have?
Was it Royal Hospital Road?

I think he's had fillers in now, because of his TV work in America lol.

I'm not too sure about the new rules - guess it might either be something to do with copyright reasons, or, that the owners of a website are deemed to be responsible for everything that appears on it?

Let me read what Lea said again.

yes that's him - the foul mouthed chef.
I have met him once on a book signing and he was very nice. I have a picture and most of his cookbooks

I bet he is nice, and that the majority of his behavior is for TV. Otherwise, who would work for such a jerk. Then again, I know some chefs.. and they ARE temperamental. My nephew is a chef at a Casino in BC... he fits the role

Yes Gill - the one at Royal Hospital road.

We had the "menu prestige" - 7 course taster menu with foie gras for starter (amongs others), roasted pidgen breast for main and 3 deserts (I swapped one for cheese selection)

Pre- starter was a frog leg on a bed of roasted garlic and leek soup - it was very yummy, it taste similar to chicken

it's the stress. When I used to cook in a pub (on my own) I used to get stressed and pot were flying and air was blue (sometimes)

Nice one Bee!

ED has also met Gordon, at work - she said he was absolutely lovely (but the team who were with him, no so) She told him that her Dad's a really good cook, and he signed a book for him, which she gave him for his birthday last year. He said they should have a cook off Laughing

I can't believe how many food items out there 'taste like chicken' - so I just stick with the chicken

OH eats more or less anything though, he can do it for both of us!

Frannie, no worries about typos, we read what you mean, not what your fingers do off piste!

Besides, there's your enormous age, your failing eyesight and the fact that we KNOW you're typing from your bed, as per your avvie

I love it too, get a bonnet on to Misha, Tanya's taking orders right now.

I'll look for some catch phrases...

of course, you do realise that when we chat, this is now the image I have in my mind?

Edith's mother. She lives in the attic of the café, which is also the place where the British airmen and the Resistance's radio (complete with "Ze flashing knobs") are hidden. When she wants attention, she bangs her walking stick on the floor and cries out "Will nobody 'ear the cries of a poor old woman?" She is partial to a glass of gin, and occasionally fills in for her daughter as part of the café cabaret; though her singing is just as bad (if not worse). She also hates the Gestapo, as evidenced by saying "The Gestapo, I spit on zem" which is followed by three spits.

Frannie la Fran

I'm assuming it's ok to post pics from the web, as the tool bar has the means to do just that?

I love veal and I guess I'm more open minded when it comes to food - I will try anything at least once.

I will look forward to your siggy as per your description
