I was just having one of my usual walks around the Playfish forum and i often see threads about people quitting PS for good. Now, you would think that if they were leaving they would just give all their stuff away. But i always see threads were people trade all their items and still claim they are leaving PS.........if your leaving PS then just give your stuff away! what are you going to with the 999/3333/5999s???

lol I don't get it either Stephanie, doesn't make sense to me. Unless they are planning on returning I think it's just a way to grab people's attention to get them to buy from them.

Now that you mention it I am planning to leave PS as well. I won't rant but there are so many reasons that if I'd make a list it would probably take a lot of posts to make it.

i totally agree haha. it's why i don't really announce that i will ever leave PS cause even if i don't play for a month or something i'll probably still come back eventually. so why bother having to tell the whole world "LOL I QUIT PS FOREVER" and then say to buy their stuff. haha

unless they really really discount the prices then maybe it's just a way to not have everyone horde their stuff but yeah. *shrugs* it is funny.

yeah i don't understand that toooooo..........i have stop to play PS 2 or 3 times for a week or 2 but i know that i will come back and i have save all my items....if i will ever leav PS i will probably try to grant some wishes for my very good virtual friends and some items i will keep because who know......maybe i will in few years wish to come back.....LOL

yeah i mean, you are right what's the point of having money when quiting? or if you wanna quit , don;t even bother to make a sale just give them away to your friends and that's it!

I agree, if I ever left PS for good (meaning I'm not going to play ever again) then I would gift all my stuff away. What's the use in keeping it there in your chest if you don't play? And what's the use in deleting your account with all your items in it? And why sell your items if your leaving? Seriously. I would grant as many wishes as I could and then just go on a gift-bombing spree and gift it all away!

I have taken breaks from things but haven't quit. When I quit Fluff Friends, I gave all my stuff away, I had tons of stuff, and it all went. I kept one habitat (the one I was using) and that was it. But, I gave away everything. I didn't go back even though one of my friends said that she'd give me the stuff back if I went back (I never did).

That's just mind boggling, but since it's TOF, nothing about that place really surprises me.

I've always wondered the same. I think they say they are quitting only to catch the attention. Maybe I could understand the ones who give away PS stuff for other games' items, but the ones who ask for PS currencies are a little suspicious in my opinion...
