really wish I had not started decorating!

I am decorating my front roon and am at the stage where I really wish I had not started it

The walls are painted, the skirting boards and dado are glossed...I'm having the laminate floor fitted today, and the furniture delivered on Monday...all I will have left to do then is gloss the fireplace and doors.

There is not one tidy room in my house, as I've had to empty the front room...the ironing pile is silly high, and all I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep for a year!

I just keep telling myself it will look great once its done, but I WANT IT DONE NOW!!

aaaaaw Lisa, I'm sorry! I have not a house on my own, so usually is my mom that goes crazy when some works are to be done, but I hope they will finish as soon as possible!

Aww Lisa, I understand, I'll keep my fingers crossed everything will go quickly so you can have some rest soon. Maybe little elves or dwarfs will come over during the night and attack the pile that has to be ironed :-D

I understand you! We've been assembling our new furniture and the house is a mess. I have things on the floor (books, figurines, papers...), things on tables, on the sofa... My vacuum cleaner is on strike and I have pain in zones I couldn't have imagine.

I'm sure your room will look great, I only wish mine would too

i know it will seem a pain now hun, but i bet when its finished it will look amazing and you will be so chuffed that you did it xxx

the flooring is a nightmare..had to phone a fitter to come and do it. Another £140 down the drain
