What would you like to see new in PSFC for 2011??

Any comps that you have liked in the past that you would like to see return??

I don't know about the comps because I've quit PS long time ago, but I would like to see some new skins/themes. How about a winter theme until the end of February? But not the festive winter theme, just the winter one.

I would also like more members to be attracted to this site, so maybe make something nobody else did and get lots of members in no time.

I'm in the process of designing a change for the group, but had to get rid of the Christmas on, which is why this one went back on until the new one is ready

Do you have any suggestions on how to make the group wintery, without it looking like Christmas? This is what I've been struggling with lol

I've been looking through my facebook and noticed a lot of people are playing some of the other games now (more so than PS) so I think it would be good if we can try and push those sections more

Good idea, but you must first see what games are oftenly played, then how many players play it, and then you can put the new sections up here and make them active.

And about the winter-ish theme, I was thinking maybe something like this:
1. The section where the words are (posts) should be coloured white, with possible blue shading and similar.
2. Banner should be ps themed, with lots of pets playing showball fight and making snowmen like the one in your siggy.
3. Lots of buttons should have changed color and desingn, something new and unique.

Just watch out for the coloring. That's the most risky part. Use white, blue, and maybe grey, and watch out how you combine them.
Also, red and green is out of sight here, because those are the festive colors.

If you need help with the banner, I would be more then happy to make it.

I dont want the banner to full of PS, this is something we have been moving away from for a while now.

Ever since Playfish have been releasing the spoilers themselves, a lot of PS players stopped coming in here...they just look at them in the official blog.
Also PS have lost a lot of players recently, and I wouldnt be suprised if it is not even in the top 10 played facebook games.
The top played game is currently cityville, followed by farmville...so to keep the group moving we need to focus on all facebook games and not just PS. I know we all joined PSFC as PS players, but majority of us play other facebook games as well, and I think we need to start focusing on these as well now

There are blog entries in RC. BUt I don't know how to do that OR if I can do that. I'll try my best!

If you see the blog updated, if you can pm me then I add it to PSFC news as I do with the PS blog....thing is I would forget to go looking for it....so just give me a nudge (or a kick lol) when you see its updated

Any other news, you can always either copy and paste it or screen shot it

I think the RC blogs is updated on Thursdays like PS.

I would love it if the "guides" to PS would be updated and maintained.
I imagine it's allot of work, but it would really be helpful. I use guides all the time... like the fishing guide, but it's out of date. And a W/L Box guide would be great! And to keep the weekly forest digging guide up to date (I can't even find it in the forum anymore?)

I really enjoy the competition section that comes up every now and then for different occasions (Christmas, Halloween...). So I would like to see that continue in 2011.

I like when the look of the site changes. So keeping that going would be great. Quarterly would be nice.

I play many other games, but those sections are not very active, and don't exist for all games. I don't know how to make them more active. I've tried posting in them to "bump up" the threads, but without any success. Any ideas?

I forgot!I am doing for 2011 weeks some tables in Excel. It might be helpfull for some guides.

well this site is pretty cool....soo i can't remember any things that we can do.....i play only PS sooo can't talk about another games....sorry........i will keep opening new competitions and giveaways in member section and as i talked with Lea i going to make some PS guides this days.........new theme would be great but pleas keep PSFC style cause it's AMAZING and unique .........if i remember anything else will post......... :tree2:

I've used the pen tool and drew the letters myself.
EDIT: Sorry I didn't say everything. The font is Comic Sans, but I've drew the ice over it.
And I love your idea about the more games being put into the site.

i have remember one thing i would like to be back......MEMBER OF THE MONTH................and i think that if we add some prize for member of the MONTH more members will be active and that will help to PSFC a little...i guess..........i can be the one who will send prizes to winners...........what do you think about it......we can all chose member of the month every month........ :carol:

If it's comic sans, I can design the lettering with the icy look. My photo program (Ulead) does havea special function in it that can make the font iced over.

I'm not sure about the day the blog is updated BUT the items are out in another day (usually thursday) and we get many in between.

In RC everyday the market changes (you can buy 3 ings and the prices vary each time you see them -even the same ing), free things in the FB page almost everyday and some tie more than one per day, the daily free stuff IN the game, free gifts and maaaaany more
