How do I upload videos from my video camera into my computer?

I really want to upload some videos onto Youtube, except I do not have
a digital video camera. Is there any way to upload videos onto your
computer with a video camera that uses film?

The only I could think of now is for you to go to a video shop and have it converted digitally..

You need to get a video-editing card that has AV inputs. The card will probably come with some movie software too for you to upload from the video and edit.
